Police Eating At Restaurant Near Site Of Deputy’s Murder Get Unexpected Note On Their Receipt
The Oasis Restaurant Leaves Unexpected Note For Officers
Manhattan, MT – A group of law enforcement officers received an unexpected note on their receipt while eating at The Oasis restaurant.
The group of law enforcement officers was in the area to attend the memorial of murdered hero, Broadwater County Deputy Mason Moore.
On May 16th, Deputy Moore was murdered on a traffic stop. A Gallatin deputy was sent to his last known location to check on him, and found Deputy Moore’s body.
After the memorial, the group of law enforcement officers ate at The Oasis restaurant where they received this note:
Dinner tonight is a gift from my family and me.
May the Almighty watch over you.
Thank you for all that you do to serve.”
Sheriff Allen Fulton took to Facebook to leave this information about the note:
I would like to thank the Oasis restaurant in Manhattan, Montana for dinner tonight. Undersheriff Bruce Price, the Chicago police officers and two Fort Worth Texas Police officers joined us for dinner. This is what our check looked like. Please, if you are in Manhattan, stop and support this business.
The Oasis Restaurant is about 12 miles from where Deputy Mason Moore was murdered.
Thank you to The Oasis for your support of law enforcement.
Would you be more willing to patronize a restaurant if they openly support law enforcement? Should there be a list of pro-law enforcement businesses? We’d like to hear what you think. Please let us know in the comments.
