Portland, OR – A bloodied, severed pig’s head wearing a police hat was dumped on top of an American flag and set on fire by rioters outside the Multnomah County Justice Center on Thursday night, video footage showed (video below).
“Antifa protesters dumped a bloody severed pig’s head on an American flag outside the Justice Center in downtown Portland,” reporter Andy Ngo tweeted. “They put a cop’s hat on it and set all of it on fire.”
It wasn’t the first time that rioters brought a pig into the downtown area during the past two months of nightly mayhem.
On June 7, someone abandoned a 300-pound swine in a large planter bed along the Eastbank Esplanade, The Oregonian reported.
According to Ngo, a rioter was allegedly “going to kill the pig as an act of anti-police protest but abandoned it last minute.”
Police rescued the animal and took it to a farm owned by a retired law enforcement officer, according to The Oregonian.

The incident involving the torched pig’s head occurred just days after two shirtless “protesters” laughed at the idea that a large explosion that went off near the federal courthouse could have potentially killed a law enforcement officer.
“F–k it,” one of the demonstrators told the Daily Caller during the July 28 interview. “If one of them cops got killed – good!”
Rioters have repeatedly fired mortars and other projectiles at police, sprayed the federal courthouse with graffiti, broken windows, attempted to barricade exits, and ignited fires inside and outside of the courthouse and other buildings during the nightly attacks that have taken place over the past two months.
They have blocked traffic, destroyed parks and other public spaces, and caused over $23 million in losses to downtown businesses due to looting and rioting.
On July 27, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) tweeted photos of some of the “contraband” federal officers had confiscated from “violent agitators” outside the federal courthouse.
Among the items was a “jar prepped for a Molotov cocktail, paint cans, leaf blowers, paint sprayers, hockey sticks, shields, and gasoline, according to the DOJ.

The Oregon State Police took over the primary role of guarding the outside of the federal courthouse for the first time on Thursday night, FOX News reported.
The increased deployment of local and state law enforcement officers was part of a deal between the federal government and Oregon Governor Kate Brown to decrease the number of federal officers needed to protect federal officers and properties from the violent attackers.
Hundreds of demonstrators showed up outside the courthouse and the nearby Justice Center on Thursday night, but most were peaceful, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) said in a press release.
“At times people lit small fires along sidewalks on surrounding blocks and attempted to light fires inside the fence at the federal courthouse,” the PPB said. “Others in the crowd put the fires out. Some people climbed on or near the fence at the federal courthouse, but others admonished them and they got down. People could be heard in the crowd repeating that the protest was to remain peaceful.”
It is unclear who was responsible for torching the pig’s head and the American flag.
The “demonstrators” dispersed “without police interaction” in the predawn hours on Friday, according to police.
