Concealed Carry Female Stops Carjacking
Female Passenger Uses Firearm To Stop Carjacker
Atlanta, Georgia – A carjacking suspect picked the wrong car to rob. It appears that the driver may not have been armed, but the female passenger was.
The incident started on Thursday when a black Hummer was reported to be involved in multiple hit-and-run collisions in the Buckhead area. The suspect then continued on to Midtown when the driver of the Hummer exited his vehicle and attempted to carjack the driver of a white Porsche. The two got involved in a physical altercation before a female passenger in the Porsche drew her gun. Police arrived, and the officer discharged his Taser at the same time the passenger opened fire.
The suspect survived the ordeal and was hospitalized for his bullet wounds. The unidentified suspect is likely to face multiple criminal charges when he is discharged from the hospital.
The reason for the incident is not known at this time, but it it believed that the suspect may have been under the influence of some mind-altering drug.
