Burglar Leoul Yosef Forced To Call 911 For Help After Homeowner Comes Home
Burglar, Leoul Yosef, Breaks Leg Escaping Homeowner, Forced To Call 911
Alexandria, VA – Leoul Yosef broke into an apartment and made the job of Alexandria Police Officers easy. First, he broke his leg trying to get away, and second, he called the police to help him.
According to the Associated Press, the incident occurred at an Alexandria apartment on Wednesday afternoon. Yosef had broken into the second-story apartment and was still inside when the owner unexpectedly returned home.
Leoul Yosef jumped off the balcony trying to get away. Fairfax County Police Officer Don Gatthardt said that Yosef left tracks in the snow when he jumped, and that officers were following the tracks when they received a 911 call from a man who said he was in the area and had broken his leg.
Fairfax County Police Officers responded to assist the man, later identified as Yosef, and they observed that the injured man matched the description of the burglary suspect.
Yosef was transported to a local hospital for treatment and will be charged with burglary after he is released from the hospital.
The hospital is not expected to fix Yosef’s lack of intelligence, because you can’t fix stupid; but we can give it a court date.
