Blue Lives Matter Is Asking All Americans To Boycott Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream

Blue Lives Matter Is Asking All Americans To Boycott Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream

Blue Lives Matter is calling on all Americans to send a message to Ben & Jerry’s, and parent company Unilever, to boycott all Ben & Jerry’s products.

Ben & Jerry’s just recently announced their support for Black Lives Matter along with a misinformation campaign accusing law enforcement of widespread systemic and institutionalized racism. Many companies have offered misguided statements of support for Black Lives Matter in the past, with the false belief that they are expressing support for civil rights.

Black Lives Matter is not a civil rights group. Most people have their own personal beliefs about what Black Lives Matter means to them. They think that their personal definition for Black Lives Matter is what the organized BLM groups stand for; this is not the case. While we believe that other companies were misguided, Ben & Jerry’s campaign is dangerous.

skull tumblers

Ben & Jerry’s went beyond making a statement in support of civil rights when they actively accused law enforcement of widespread racism. By spreading these false and misleading statements, Ben & Jerry’s lends an appearance of legitimacy to the baseless claims that police officers are killing men based on the color of their skin. This message has inspired the assassination and attempted assassination of police officers, and it costs officers their lives.

Black Lives Matter is made up of political organizations with political goals that most of Ben & Jerry’s customers would disagree with, including disrupting the “nuclear family” structure (see Black Villages), taxpayer-funded reparations for black people (see Reparations), and the elimination of charter schools (see Invest-Divest.) If you are unfamiliar with the Movement 4 Black Lives website we linked to, that’s the coalition of over 50 Black Lives Matter organizations which is receiving $100 million in donations to push their political goals.

By not only attacking law enforcement, but openly supporting Black Lives Matter, Ben & Jerry’s is sure to anger most Americans who do not agree with the political causes that they are supporting.

Blue Lives Matter is calling on all Americans to boycott all Ben & Jerry’s products and send a message that we do not agree with Black Lives Matter or their goals. Please get the word out about the importance of this boycott.

Done. There’s better product out there anyway.

    • firemanemt4ever.

Haagen-Daz is better and has less chemicals anyways.

      • Lisa

Haagen-Daz Vanilla Almond chipped one of my molars, and I had to have a crown put on it. That was one expensive cup of ice cream.

        • firemanemt4ever.

That would be because of the almond. You could have had that issue from anything hard like peanuts or from any ice cream. The tooth sounds like it was already weakened and was ready to brake. i dont eat ice cream any more because sugar and fats. but honestly if you wanted something simple with few ingredients the best commercial one is Haagen-daz. if you have local ice cream manufacturers many times theirs are just as good and few added binding agents and chemicals.

        • The media is our problem

if Ice Cream chipped your tooth is was rotten and would have fallen out anyway.

  • Someone I used to Know

Just like BLM, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is bad for you.

    • Marc Lefebvre

You are right, Blue Lives Matter is bad for you.

      • OniNate

Apparently Marc is a moron that can not read. Then again, I don’t see people who support Black Lives Matter being a group of people blessed with or having attained a sufficient amount of mental capacity to really think intelligently.

      • xvtb

this guy will still be posting about how tolerant he is when the niggers are breaking in and raping his wife and daughters

  • Janice Marie

Ben and Jerry is not supporting racism. If you believe this then you don’t understand what Black Lives Matter movement means. It’s funny how this organization is call a racist group but it’s ok to start an organization call Blue Lives Matter. But they are not racist just like Black Lives matter is not. The killing of these Cops are terrible just like the Cops killings unarmed Blacks and Latinos. Instead of fighting against each other we need to start working with each other so we can move forward.

    • Justin Jurek

BLM is racist. Maybe the leadership is overt about it, but it’s supporters clearly are. It’s been well documented how many threats of violents have been levied against whites by people supporting these race marxists.

      • Janice Marie

I support BLM movement and I’m definitely not racist and I support good COPS but not one that’s going around killing innocent people. Just like I don’t support blacks or any race that goes around killing cops. Btw: I don’t where you saw documents that say BLM is racist. That documents doesn’t exist. Just some ignorant person who may that stuff up because they got issue with blacks. But that’s personal problem. Enough said on this topic

        • I AM DEPLORABLE ✓ᵀᴿᵁᴹᴾ

Read their demands on their website and get back to us about rather or not they are racist.

          • Janice Marie

Again BLM is not racist. It’s bunch of people who don’t know no any better and who trying to say that this movement is. I’m not going to go back forth trying to explain myself to people who don’t have clue because they are racist ones. #blacklivesmatters #goodcopsmatters #allracematters Enough said. Enjoy ur life

          • I AM DEPLORABLE ✓ᵀᴿᵁᴹᴾ

I love how when you progressive liberals are losing the battle you go straight to calling people a racist. Just remember when you are pointing the finger at someone, there are three pointing back at you.

          • Janice Marie

I think you need to look up the word racist. But I’m done responding to someone who don’t know what they talking about.

          • lucke1949@yahoo.com

More blacks are killed by the hands of other blacks than police. A study was done in Washington that shows police are more hesitant to shoot a black for the plain and simple fact the fear of being called racist! It would take forty years for police to kill the number of blacks killed by blacks in one year! Black people have been afforded many organizations to help elevate themselves. Affirmative Action for one. They’ll take a black over a white student with same SAT scores. If a black person elevates themselves, makes good, blacks call them Uncle Tom, Coon, Oreo, Coconut. They accuse them of wanting to be White! On other forms of social media I’ve asked them to explain this behavior and why they don’t applaud the persons success. I’ve inquired into why, if the ‘N’ is such a derogatory term they refer to each other by it. So far crickets. Did you know, that on average in a year, there are more people struck by lightening then killed by police use of deadly force? The media reports the shooting and or death of blacks over those of any other ethnicity. Did you know during the same time period that black man was killed in Louisiana there was a white teenage boy killed by police use of deadly force in California? I didn’t see it on the lame stream media because it doesn’t fit the narrative they want to project that police are hunting for black persons! Black on black murders account for 95% of of all homicides in America!!

          • James Stone II

The fact that you have to ask those questions is an indication that you will never understand the answers. Aaaaaand for good measure, your numbers are terrible. White criminals are by far more violent and likely to inflict harm on officers and white on white violence is far more prevalent, however it’s not in the best interest of the media to accurately report that.

          • lucke1949@yahoo.com

You are so wrong! I do quite well at understanding when it’s explained to me! What I have found is those who assume I can’t usually have no ability to express themselves!

I haven’t researched which group of ethnicities is the more violent against police but will do so. As for my numbers, I’ve gone by data compiled by the government!

You are correct, the media doesn’t report accurately. They show more officer involved incidents with blacks than any other ethnicity.

          • TruDj757

What the hell is wrong with you, black on black crime does not make up 95 percent of murders, lightning happens everyday multiple times a day and over 24 thousand are killed by it a year are you telling me you would be OK with cops killing that many people a year much less black but it sounds good to use a statement that people don’t know is as high as you say right, I really can’t stand people like you who like to use false stats to confuse people into believing your not racist. While you use lies and misconception to confuse the less informed. Your pathetic.

          • lucke1949@yahoo.com

Such hostility. By the National Weather Service the number of deaths by lightening this year, to date, have been 36! So with approximately 2 1/2 months left to go in this year I do not believe we’ll reach your number of 24,000. Unless you are speaking worldwide? I don’t have the number of the worldwide deaths by lightening in a year but I can look it up. I’m sorry you feel I us false stats but I do my best to get as accurate numbers as possible before I Run My Mouth!!

I’m not okay with people killing anyone but you appear to believe blacks are being singled out which is simply not the case! You appear to be the one whose misinformed!!

          • TruDj757

Why don’t you look up voter literacy exams and voter suppression tools used in American history and you can not in no way has there ever been a predetermined movement to step on the rights of freed slaves in America, and if you can see that not only did that happen, but still goes on today with the over introduction of voter Id laws. Than why can’t you admit that even though not every cop is out to get every black person, there are still prejudices that people have today that they take into the work place, which is why people focus on the black/ white scale of crime instead of focusing on the poverty/ middle class scale which shows addiction and crime will always be higher in places with destitute people who have no income of future life prospects, the goal of all americans should be in the greatest and richest country on the planet to have the lowest percentage of impoverished people, which will drastically decrease the crime rate. But if we keep making the argument that blacks this and whites that, we will not be able to see that in the right environment skin color does not factor in to a person potential for meaningful growth, or future criminal acumen, the biggest factors regarding those things are not race but access to proper teachings and material to grow the mind, and that is what is missing in poor neighborhoodservice around the country black and white, and I feel anyone who believes blue lives matter should be shouting at their govts to explain why 2 cops to a car has been systematically decreased when in a high stress situation both officers and civilians alike are known to respond more calmly and with more control than when an officer is alone with an unknown civilian fearing for his life.

          • lucke1949@yahoo.com

If you would read my statement about lightening again I said “struck” not killed! Per the National Weather Service the number of “deaths” due to lightening from 2006 through to date in 2016 have been 350. 275 have been men and 75 women! Looking into the worldwide deaths by lightening. Looks like they might go by the deaths in each country so I’ll have to get back to you on that total. Still looking if there is a site that will just give me the grand total.

          • CMuhammad

And More COPS Are Being Killed By WHITES Not BLM Or Any Blacks. Why Worry About Black On Black Crime When Their Are White On White Crime? Tell Me What’s The Difference? Their Are Violence In ALL Communities. Clean Your Backyard Before Putting Down Another. That’s Just A Tool To Make Blacks Think That They Can’t Get Ahead In Life. Police Have A Job To Do And That Is To Serve And Protect The Communities Of All. Not Target!!!

          • lucke1949@yahoo.com

CMuhammad sorry you took offense. That wasn’t my intention to offend. I’m very aware that other ethnicities have problems but they’re not the one’s cry foul and believing that they’re being singled out to be slaughtered. The blacks are not being targeted. From my research you have more to fear of being killed by another black person than a cop. The subject is about Ben and Jerry supports BLM. What the news has shown is alleged members of the BLM calling for the death of cops and even white people. The news has not shown a positive light on this group. I wasn’t putting down any group because I’ve known plenty of individuals that have had run ins with law enforcement. I have no statistics on what group accounts for the majority of police officers deaths but will see what I can find.

Could you, by any chance, go back and read what I wrote and possibly give me answers to the questions I’ve asked? I’ve asked my daughter in law and other black acquaintances and they can’t provide me an answer. My ex neighbor was a black lady and said I was nuts because I’d drive through an area after dark that she wouldn’t go through during the daylight. It was a black neighborhood that had a bad reputation for negative activity. I never felt threatened or scared being on those streets. I would appreciate it if you are able to enlighten me with answers to my questions above.

          • S. Libby Cyr

I guess you haven’t heard about the demand that reparations should be paid to them for crap that happened looooong before they were born, when none of us walked this earth. Then there’s the matter of them calling for the cold-blooded murder of cops.

          • Janice Marie

I don’t know where you got your info from. It seem like you making stuff up just like the rest of these people on here. Please come back with fact (proof) that this group is racist. Yes! blacks should be paid for the treatment that their ancestor went through. For you comment on slavery go read book and check your history.

          • Tom Peterson

So Janice how much should I be paid for reparations as my family did not hold slaves so we were economically disadvantaged and I demand to be paid for my ancestors misfortunes. Seem like since LBJ was have bent over backward to amend the terrible slave owners that bought slaves from villages in Africa that had been captured in tribe wars. Do not even think of lying about that subject as unlike you, I actually worked in Africa for years and know the history.

          • Carol Hersey Surls
          • S. Libby Cyr

How much are you paying the great-great-great grandchildren????

          • Pumpkin

Trust me, if there was a call to kill cops on site, there would be a lot more murders.

          • Lacey Sheridan

The problem is that BLM is really a loose confederation of groups around the country, with varying goals. Any black group with an agenda can call themselves BLM; it doesn’t mean it’s true.

          • Ralazar

So shouldn’t Blue Lives Matter acknowledge that?

          • Lacey Sheridan

Assuming they even realize it, yes. Many people don’t seem to grasp this. It’s one of the downsides of the movement – poor organization, lacking identified spokespersons and a clear platform at the national level. As a result, every time there is a protest, some of which devolve into riots, BLM is blamed.

          • Ralazar

They certainly should get better organized because, as you mention, it’s way to easy to use the movement as a scapegoat for anything bad that happens as the result of a protest.

          • Lacey Sheridan

They have evidently chosen not to be nationalized, or to have identified national leaders.

          • Starwhite1

BLM matter is not only a racist hate group but they are also a terrorist organization.

          • Janice Marie

Said the devil who got picture of Jesus as a profile. Yeah that group is racist because they sick and tired police killing innocent blacks for no reason. But they suppose to be terrorist. Please look up the definition of terrorist and show proof before you start calling a group terrorist.

          • firemanemt4ever.

Janice give it up already. BLM is proven to be racist. They have shown the world they are violent. Ben and Jerry’s is now supporting violence.

          • Carol Hersey Surls

This has been on the news! Google BLM demands.

          • firemanemt4ever.

Here is a list of the terrorist group BLM wants.

[F]ull and free access for all Black people (including undocumented and currently and formerly incarcerated people) to lifetime education…

[A] guaranteed minimum livable income for all Black people…

            [C]orporate and government reparations

            [M]andated public school curriculums

          • DatBus

BLM is extremely racist against White people, and follows a subversive, marxist narrative. The goal is to DISMANTLE and REPLACE Western Civilization, NOT improve it. Wake up to what’s being done to your country, this is not equal rights and it isn’t harlmess. They are run by radicals and funded by a globalist billionaire who is literally taking over the world as we speak. There is a great cost to allowing these groups to flourish and inviting them into the White House.

BLM does not support all black only the black thugs hide behind the GANG BLM. Furthermore if black lives matter so damn much they should stop killing each other and do what the cops tell them to from the start of the situation not when some bimbo starts recording the later parts that make it seem as homeboy did nothing wrong. If KKK is wrong so is BLM all promote murders of race. MOST blacks are very beautiful , caring God loving people but then there’s the few who like to fan flames start a race war then steal from burnt out stores they otherwise couldn’t afford to shop in.

And “threats leveled” if they even exist and DEAD BLACK BODIES that are many and real, aren’t the same conversation at all. Have a seat.

    • Jana Watson Colburn

BLM is racist because it’s talking about only black lives. Blue Lives Matter isn’t racist because it isn’t talking about a particular race. It is about police officers – all police officers of every race.

      • Janice Marie

When Black Lives say Black Lives Matter they are saying they are tired of innocent blacks get killed by police officer. So they are not saying that other Lives doesn’t matter. It just that their lives matter just as much as any other race. I don’t understand how people can’t understand that. Every time you turning around there cop killing a black person for know reason. Example look at the female cop Betty Shelby who shot unarmed black man Terrance Crutcher. What about the the officer that shot a man in his car in front of his girlfriend while a child in the backseat. He told officer he had gun in the glove department which he has permit as he was reaching for his license and registration. For record he was the passenger. The cop shot and killed him. Look it up the black guy that was killed is Philando Castile. Oh yeah! Betty Shelby has been charge for man slaughter. There know reason for them to ask this guy for license and registration when his girlfriend was driving. So please don’t tell me that BLM is a racist group. They are tired and fed up. Enough

Interesting perspective. So what principle does Blue stand on when they murder unarmed men? Ok let’s take them out the equation. What principle does the union and the officers stand on that don’t expose these murderers?

          • War_Wolf

While this happens, the VAST MAJORITY of the most recently highlighted cases have been proven to be utter B.S. Michael Brown, Freddie Grey, Eric Garner, etc… those were the ones everyone got all up in arms about, and guess what? Those m.f.ers I just listed were PROVEN GUILTY, and the cops were vindicated having to protect their lives. But no, the police are the problem, right? So ya know what? Maybe cops should just leave the worst part of the inner cities alone, because after all, they’re the ones doing all the killings and stuff! Interesting though… this is exactly what has transpired in Baltimore on the west side and you know what? Homicides have sky-rocketed! You’re a moron.

        • S. Libby Cyr

The “wah” factor goes a long way with some people, but I think you’ll find VERY few instances where deadly situations with LEOs were instigated by the party who then ends up justifiably dead!

if black lives matter were legit they would go into the terrible communities where black men are daily killing other black men over NOTHING and stage their demonstrations. a lot of people feel this way. it shows that blm is nothing but an agenda driven fraud trying to exploit sometimes tragic situations. there would be much more legitimacy if these victims werent criminals. not justifying what SOME police do by any means but facts are facts. these people being killed for no reason DO NOT IN ANY WAY represent main stream african americans just as the killers do no represent most police.

          • toles5

not necessarily, if your organization is designed to stop cops whose job it is to protect the citizens and your whole focus is on that problem, then why would you address another one until that one is fixed. BLM came into existence for one reason to stop the killing of innocent blacks by police, when that problem is effectively addressed then we can use that organization to address another problem that can fit under the BLM umbrella.

          • EmpatheticRN

BLM is funded by George Soros and the Democrats. They are using these people to keep them riled up so that they go out and vote for Hillary. Watch how fast it dies down after Election Day. As Wiki-leaks revealed, Hillary doesn’t think much of black people. This is just another version of Occupy Wall Street. BLM was started on a lie, “Hands up Don’t Shoot”.

…You are an imbecile. You and your complete ignorance and lack of basic empathy for an oppressed people are the reason I Will vote for Hillary. If you think I would even consider that racist pig Trumpanzee, you are as toxic as he is! Trumpanzee does not give a good God damn about ANY race except his own. Go get your head checked.

          • War_Wolf

Very logical response on your part; job well done there sunshine! Looks like it’s time for your meds.

          • Cornelius Von

Maybe you better go see what Hillary called blacks in those recently released emails. Not asking you to vote for Trump but you might not want to vote for Hillary either. She doesn’t like blacks and she’s not going to help them.

          • Dr Anon

The only people who are systematically oppressed are the whites paying a disproportionate amount of taxes to support colored welfare.

          • ImmaKillit

            HahahahahahahaBAAAAHAHAAHAHAHAHA????????????????

          • Dr Anon

Typical colored. You’re welcome for the purple drank. Try not to slam anyone’s head into the curb and you wont get culled.

        • DatBus

You obviously know NOTHING about BLM, their funders or their ideology. Grow up Janice, you’re helping Black people and you’re certainly not helping your country.

          • Janice Marie

Here we go again. Ignorant person who don’t nothing about the BLM. I guess you part of the problem

          • Ken Kallusky

            Go with the statistics

          • crazyottojr

Are you trying to sound stupid? Seriously?

        • R.B. Alden

Are you seriously implying Michael Brown was “innocent???” Really?

        • Rick D’Alessandro

They should be more upset at blacks killing blacks in places like Chicago. Why protest a group of people who serve and protect them. There are always a few bad apples in any group but to say that all police officers are racist is ridiculous. And that’s why this country is so divided. Which is why “all lives matter”!

        • Ken Kallusky

Look at statistics before you single out stories that fit your agenda..

          • Janice Marie

Just your facts before you start commenting on BLM.

          • crazyottojr

I thinks facts are something you have no relationship with

        • crazyottojr

You simply are ignorant of the facts. We know that Blacks are over represented in violent crimes in this country. The FBI statistics bear this out,Specifically homicide rates (45-55% of the total and of course 90-95%perpetrated by other Blacks)
Police killings of Blacks represent up to 4% of the total Black homicide rate. On the hand Police killings of Whites represent 12% of the the total White homicide rate. That should be the only statistic you need to prove that there is no orchestrated racism at work. The BLM movement deals only in anecdotal evidence to make their phony claims of systemic racism in law enforcement . Their adherents are not really all that good at conducting critical thinking exercises. They have been co-opted by REV.Com and George Soros . Police malfeasance needs to investigated. However it is not widespread and if you consider that 90% – 95% of the 800,000 law enforcement officers in this country never fire their weapon yet they are out there every day working in our communities to keep us safe. I really don’t care what a group of ignorant and often times semi-literate protesters have to say and when I read your post I get the feeling that you have done little actual research but rather have swallowed the silly BLM talking points hook, line and sinker. Are there cases of racism probably but again we have over 800K officers out there doing their job to keep us safe. You should be thankful but then again that would require thoughtful reflection.

          • Janice Marie

No your are ignorant. What we do that whites commit more crimes especially when comes serial killers. What we do know for fact that innocent blacks are get killed by cops. Have a nice day

          • crazyottojr

What statistics have you referenced? Serial killers? What does that have to do with anything? They represent a small fraction of overall homicides ..Whites as a total do in fact commit more crimes because they represent a larger portion of the population. With the exception of Homicides which in some years, Blacks surpass even Whites in total or run a close second. What statistic are you referring to that indicates more innocent Blacks are killed by Police? I haven’t seen that one. “Have a nice day” … please.. you can keep your passive aggressive silliness. I am interested in facts, context and perspective. In other words critical thinking. Not to be confused with the absurdity of critical race theory which seems to have taken possession of your intellect.

          • Janice Marie

You sound ignorant so there need for me to discuss anything with you. Have a nice day!

          • crazyottojr

I sound ignorant? that is priceless … You just can’t fix stupid…

          • Travis Ransom

Wait so 800k officers are doing their job so it’s a non-issue, but .02% of the Brown population commit violent crime and that’s a trend? Are we on the same page here? Did you just present stats that proved your point and ignore the other side of those stats? You didn’t do that. You didn’t speak about 90% and fail to mention that number represents 0.02% of the entire Brown population in America? Nah, you didn’t do that.

          • War_Wolf

0.02%? WTH did you get that number?

      • “BLM is racist because it’s talking about only black lives”. <—– you said this in confidence lmao

      • Nell Webbish

Uhm …. I don’t think you actually know what the meaning of the word racist is.

PRO tip: an organization that focuses on one group of people does not make it inherently racist.

        • Jana Watson Colburn

          1. a person who believes that a particular race is superior to another.
synonyms:racial bigot, racialist, xenophobe, chauvinist, supremacist

Nell Webbish this is from the dictionary. This is the definition of racist.

      • TopAssistant

It is much much deeper than we think! When the RADICAL Left-wing of the Democrat Party, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Black Lives Matter folks, etc. link up all HELL will break lose!
READ: Reds Exploiting Blacks: The Roots of Black Lives Matter
Posted By James Simpson On January 12, 2016 @ 4:15 pm In Special Report
This is a report from the AIM Center for Investigative Journalism

The Black Lives Matter [1] movement (BLM) casts itself as a spontaneous uprising born of inner city frustration, but is, in fact, the latest and most dangerous face of a web of well-funded communist/socialist organizations that have been agitating against America for decades. Its agitation has provoked police killings and other violence, lawlessness and unrest in minority communities throughout the U.S. If allowed to continue, that agitation could devolve into anarchy and civil war. The BLM crowd appears to be spoiling for just such an outcome.
Islamist organizations have also jumped on the BLM bandwagon, reminding us of the unholy alliance [102] that exists between them and the radical Left. In September 2015, the Muslim Brotherhood front-group Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) joined BLM activists [103] in storming California Governor Jerry Brown’s office. CAIR also participated [104] in the Ferguson protests. Meanwhile ISIS is recruiting [105] American blacks for its cause.

      • Smalldeer

Are you aware that they also stand with Palestians AND Native Americans? They have also marched for a white man that was killed by police. So you are full of sheep dung.

There has NEVER been a question of whether or not police lives matter. They prove everyday they think their lives matter more than anyone else’s.

      • Lily Lim

They’re saying Black Lives Matter, because black people are getting gunned down for simply existing. Look it up: black people being attacked and arrested for standing or walking, not doing anything illegal whatsoever. They’re not saying other lives don’t matter, no, they’re just reminding people that black lives matter, because they’re often killed without a second thought.

    • Winston Null

They are worse. They are a racist terrorist organization and you are either a decietful individual or a stupid motherF&#ker to say they aren’t

      • Janice Marie

Thanks for showing your true color. I’m not going to waste my time responding back to ignorant person. I hope you don’t get kill by a cop for having your hand raise in the air. I hope I don’t see your name on the news. Another person shot by cop

        • Tom Peterson

How stupid are you Janice as you wasted your time responding. LMAO.

          • Janice Marie

I keep get notifications from idiots like yourself who keep responding.

          • Tom Peterson

I am guessing that you are the idiot as other than making a fool of yourself with your pathetic post and singing Kumbaya post of how we need to pay people for their ancestors work (hardships), you seem to call everyone an idiot. Guess five letter words is the most you can understand. I assume that if I called you a imbecile, thick-head, simpleton, numb-skull, ignoramus, etc… you would not have a clue of what I was saying so I will not waste my time calling you those nouns.

    • S. Libby Cyr

We all know exactly what blm is — a terrorist organization that goes into areas of unrest and completely destroys towns/cities while promoting total chaos based largely on lies, and advocates the murder of police officers.

      • Janice Marie

Please check your story. Obviously you don’t know anything about BLM

    • Nathan Harris

The cops aren’t shooting unarmed Black and Hispanics. Your statement is ignorant. However, the cops that have been killed were hate crimes committed by racists.

      • Janice Marie

Yes they are. Betty Shelby is a example. What world is you people living in.

      • Renaldo Gordon

Racist white men since 75% of cops killed are killed by white men.

      • Debbie S

Where is your head of course they are shooting unarmed innocent people and they are usually black read the news and stop listening to FOX!!!

    • firemanemt4ever.

BLM is racist if they are protesting and chanting death to cops and death to whites. Where have you been? In the past such violence would have been called Domestic Terrorism. Under Obama its just them venting frustrations. Well i have had it with BLM or should be known as Black Lies Matter. Remember the whole hands up dont shoot? Well it was all a farse. Brown didnt put his hands up and say dont shoot.

    • DVM

Why are you wasting your time in this forum? Many of these folks are dangerously idiotic… they hear hate mongering and internalize it and blame the victimized the same way they do rape victims. They don’t care one iota about the systemic violence and racism… the most vocal loudmouths here are part of it! You can’t talk sense to the senseless but good effort.

    • Lett Lett

      The U.S. is fucked up!

    • firemanemt4ever.

Janice, Ben & Jerry’s is supporting a group that has called for the deaths of police officers. If you are being robbed, raped, threatened who would you call? Right….. The Police. So what would you do if no one came??? You need the police just like you need fire fighters, emts, nurses, doctors. So groups threatening those who protect and serve doesnt do anyone any good. BLM threatens peoples lives. Groups that threaten lives are known as terrorists. BLM is Domestic Terrorism. Obama refuses to call them terrorists. Obama also refuses to call muslims whom have attacked US citizens terrorists. Obama sympathizes with the wrong groups.

    • Ken Kallusky

Ok, I’m a racist with support facts called statistics.. Now what ? Remember I could care less what you think or say.. Whats next ?

    • Rachel

BLM is a racist and terrorist organization. Pure & simple. And shame on anyone who supports that hate.

      • Janice Marie

Another person who doesn’t know anything about BLM. Just your facts. I wonder what the whites would say if they start get killed by officers for no reason. I bet White Lives Matter too.

    • TipOfTheSpear

Three families of nine good men in Baton Rouge and Dallas no longer have fathers because of BLM inspired and member approved murders. All because a career criminal was ready to kill police officers arresting him. BLM is a domestic terrorist group, plain and simple.

      • Janice Marie

Please get your information right and stop blaming BLM for the cops that got killed. That was someone that didnt have anything to do with BLM matter. So before you start commenting on people post know your facts. What we do no for a fact that cops are killing innocent folks for no reason. That’s been proving. Google a Betty Shelby

        • TipOfTheSpear

“Pigs in a blanket, fry’em like bacon!”
“What do we want? Dead cops! When do we want them? Now!”
Peaceful protestors don’t loot and burn. And Michah the Tenth Johnson and Gavin the Alpha Male Long were typical BLM supporters doing their organization’s bidding.

      • Debbie S

Absolute rubbish no one has ever been killed by BLM they do not inspire anyone to kill that is on the individual. How many terrorist attacks have been made by BLM I will wait until you get back to me on that one!!! the idiots on this page are many SMH>

        • TipOfTheSpear

You are so ignorant never heard of Dallas or Baton Rouge or you are a liar. Take your pick.

  • eastsidelar

heading out to buy ben & jerry’s even though i don’t eat ice cream.

  • Scarlett Jewell

This Canadian will also spread the word. No more Ben & Jerry’s for my family!

    • BKD

      Just another fragile white bigot.

      • logicco

My goodness, you are on fire with the bigotry!

  • Justin Jurek

I haven’t bought Ben & Jerry’s since I learned they support unrestricted access to abortion.

    • Pumpkin

You mean they support the 14th amendment.

      • The media is our problem

Why do liberals hate punishing criminals but have no problem killing babies?

        • TC NY

Why do so-called conservatives insist on calling fetuses “babies,” when even The Bible says otherwise?

          • SkipperD

Fetus is simply Latin for baby. Exactly where are you finding evidence that the Bible does not recognize babies? Here is one of many examples that prove my point: “Luke 1:39 At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, 40 where she entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth. 41 When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear!”

          • War_Wolf

Even better one; Jeremiah 1:5- “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

          • crazyottojr

I am curious.. When a fetus can live outside the womb what do you call it?

          • Lacey Sheridan

            A baby.

          • Shay

Less than 1% of all abortions happen in late term, which is what you describe here.

A fetus can survive outside the womb starting at 20 weeks. At this point, an abortion is considered late term.
You will find that the reason for these abortions so late term is not black and white (domestic violence, miscarriages, etc…)

          • War_Wolf

WTH does it say that!? Seriously, you despicable atheists should stick to not lecturing people of faith on their beliefs…. very tacky on your part.

          • Pumpkin

And you should stop trying to force people to follow your religion.

          • War_Wolf

Dumb ass; I’m agnostic. As such, the last thing I would ever do is quote the Bible, Ayur Veda, Koran, etc to someone who actually believes in and follows those teachings. But for what it’s worth, have any of these “religious” people ever put a gun to your head and “forced their religion” on you? Give it time, the muzzies are working on it.

          • Pumpkin

When you try to limit access to abortion or birth control, that is forcing your religion on others.

          • Rachael Narcissa

            AGREED

          • Shay

So tell me, have you ever ONCE held concern for what happens to that baby AFTER it’s born?
Do you care about that mother, who may be living in poverty or carrying from rape? Do you care that she is living in terrible conditions and now due to a newborn baby has no way of supporting herself and her child because believe it or not, starting a career or finding a well paying job is not oh-so-simple when you’ve just had a baby?

Do you care that the baby has access to healthcare if it’s ill or born with autism? Do you care that it has access to affordable proper education? Do you care that it can have anything of value in general that will allow it to grow up healthy, smart, and strong?

If not, then GTFO because you don’t care about babies, you care about pregnancies.
Guess what? So do pro-choice people. Except we care about the fully formed human being GIVING birth, you know, the one that’s already born and will be responsible for the baby you are forcing her to have.

          • Sweets

TH only problem is those examples are so specific, What about the ones who just screw up and have one night stands? What about the ones who use it as a for of birth-control. What about those who choose to act and reap the benefits of marriage but when it happens aren’t ready. your reasons re valid but the ones i listed seems so selfish a trivial to kill a baby because you were responsible,. How ever It is a woman body and she should have the right to do with it as she please, and it should be on her dime

          • Shay

Those are all very valid concerns. If you look at the statistics on abortion, at least according to my research, most (73%) of abortions happen because of financial struggles and not being able to afford a baby.

          • Pumpkin

It is on her dime. Public funds can’t be used for abortion.

          • Smalldeer

Very vew women use abortion as “birth control”.

          • tjh

            Ever hear of adoption?

          • Shay

Yeah let me just destroy my body for 9 months and push a baby the size of a watermelon through a hole the size of a lemon, rack up thousands of dollars in hospital bills, and due to hormones probably develop depression or deep attachment to the now born baby, just to have to give it up to someone else and be left with nothing but a destroyed body, debt, and losing thay which you suffered so much for in the end to someone else.

          • Teresa Mohr Harris

Woe is me!!! I certainly hope you are on birth control and have your partners use condoms as well so you don’t have to be exposed to all the “horrible” things you just stated. You must be a very, very bitter and angry person with a horrible outlook on life.

          • Shay

LMAO why is it that when people have absolutely nothing else to contribute to the argument or conversation they try to aim for personal insults and 7th grade comebacks? Like you do realize you didn’t ACTUALLY provide a legitimate counter, right?

Let me know if you have any actual words of substance or intelligence in general to add to this thread.

          • Pumpkin

There’s no shortage of kids waiting to be adopted. That’s really not the ideal situation, either.

          • Smalldeer

There are over 100,000 children that have already been born, waiting for adoption in the US.

          • Amy Wilson

Shay I’m one of those odd ducks who doesn’t see the fetus as viable before eight weeks, when it’s still a blob of tissue, so that is a viable window for taking action. Pregnancy takes just over two weeks to be detectable, leaving six weeks to take action. After eight weeks the fetus takes on human features (including a unique DNA structure) which makes it a discrete life form.

You seem like a pro-choice, so let’s look at our options. A woman who wants abortion can choose life or death. A woman who chooses life can choose: to marry the father and keep it, to remain single and keep it, to turn to family for assistance in raising it, to ask friends for help with child-rearing, to seek out an adoptive family, or use an adoption agency to place the child in a home. Now of these two options, which is more pro-choice?

          • Shay

I see where yiu are coming from. But my answer is: Probably the one where she makes every single choice on her own regardless of anyone else’s opinion of life or death of her fetus.
I’d say the choice of whether or not to carry a fetus for 9 months, suffering all the potential damage it will cause to her body, suffering the possibility of miscarriage to an ill baby to dying from giving birth, suffering the extreme pain of childbirth pushing a baby out of you ripping up your body just to have to give it away or now be responsible for everything that happens to it for the next 18 years.
I’d say allowing her to consider THOSE consequences of her choice, emphasize Choice, to keep the baby, would be the most pro-choice. On a more objective level, it’s literally one more choice on top of all the other ones you listed, so yes, it is by definition more pro-choice.

Besides, most abortions happen within the first trimester, when the fetus is as you believe, inviable.

          • Kiki

When do you think there is life in the mothers womb. I would think you have no soul so you wouldn’t understand when you are given a soul. Don’t you wish your Mother had aborted you so that you wouldn’t have to try and convince people that your the chosen one who determines the fate of all.

          • Hunter Carwile

I’m so sorry to burst your bubble, but you might wish to reopen your biology book and study the part about DNA again. As soon as a sperm fertilizes an egg the 2 separate DNA combine to form a new structure. Otherwise you would have cell division etc.
The rest of what you say I agree with totally though! The Pro-Choice movement only means one thing and that is abortion, sadly.

          • War_Wolf

I’m sorry… there was a gun to her head to have sex? Short of rape, incest, or risk of death to the mother, using it as a birth control is about a selfish as it gets. But again, we’re talking about a life form with a pulse sitting about as innocent and defenseless as possible; how is it not murder to have it sucked out of the uterus on a whim?
As for “after the birth”; indeed, everyone deserves “opportunity” in life, but just because we’re born into this life doesn’t mean you just have everything handed to you like a lazy moron. A mother and father are no less responsible for a their child BEFORE and AFTER the kid is born. With your “life is too tough, so just kill the kid” logic, is about as good as it gets in the abdication of human responsibility. Good grief.

          • Shay

Right, yet you yourself as an individual will bear none of this responsibility that you describe, before or after birth for someone else’s baby, so tell me again why YOU should have a say in another woman’s pregnancy?

Do your research. By the time a fetus has a pulse, statistics show that the only women getting abortions are because they’re baby is a miscarriage, doomed to die upon birth, risking the mother to die upon birth, and also make up the smallest percentage of abortions overall.

“Life’s too tough, so let’s suffer hospital bills and have this baby because hey thay won’t royally fuck up life even more for me and the baby”

Do you eat meat? Do you bear no conscious for murdering THOSE innocent life forms for your own desires?

How about the life form that’s ALREADY BORN AND WILL HAVE TO BEAR THE PREGNANCY?

Do you honestly believe most women get abortions “on a whim” that’s the most ignorant and uneducated statement I’ve read so far.

Tell me how it’s lazy to think ahead about the quality of life you could bring to the baby, or lack thereof. Tell me how it’s lazy to put your own health above all else. Sorry that some people choose NOT to suffer their whole lives.

          • War_Wolf

Show me said stats…. and not from “plannedparenthood”….

          • Shay

            Guttmacher Institute, published in 1988:
            https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/cab36322ed499a28020a178d8d9ad3b721a39702bd7719d38a822a0172deb837.png

Of all abortions, only 1% or less are late term, and of those 1%, the reasons are not simply because they changed their mind.

          • Hunter Carwile

How selfish, and yet “you” had no problem “suffering” through the joys of sex. I guess when it comes to the responsibilities of the potential outcomes of that coupling then it’s too much trouble to deal with. That is the height of irresponsibility, selfishness, and immaturity.

As far as any man having a say in a woman’s pregnancy goes, I hate to remind you of this one sad little FACT. It still takes a MAN to make a woman pregnant. He donates 50% of his DNA to the Fetus, Latin for Baby regardless what you wish it to be, so he should have 50% of the say in what happens to the baby no matter what “you” may wish. The fact that you can deal with this shows that it’s all about YOU and nothing else matters, no matter what you claim.

          • Shay

Hey guess what? Just because you have an opinion of someone’s character doesn’t give you the right to dictate what they do with their body.

In case you’ve ignorantly stumbled upon this thread without reading, there are more than one ways to get pregnant: rape and failed birth control, for example.

In the case of pregnancy, I will remind YOU of the fact that only the WOMAN actually has to be pregnant and give birth.
Also, nobody here was discussing whether or not the FATHER (read: one man, not the whole country of them) should be able to contribute to a mother’s decision. That’s an entirely different topic.

I was referring to the fact that the supermajority of people in government deciding g on women’s health issues are men.

And yeah, if I were to get pregnant, I would be concerned about ME, seeing as I’m the one who’s pregnant. I’d wonder what the quality of life would be for the baby. I’d wonder if this baby would be abused by the father. I’d wonder about the suffering I will have to endure in pregnancy.

To that end, all a man has to do is sit and watch, IF he chooses to stay with the mom.

          • Hunter Carwile

Hi,just because I have an opinion gives me all the right I need to express it. The fact that you don’t like it, well that’s just too bad. No one sad that you would like everything that somebody ever said to you. Hurt feelings never hurt anyone.

It’s strange though, for some reason militant 3rd wave feminists like yourself and others seem to think that I and others don’t have the “right to dictate what they do with their body”, and yet you and your types have no problems loudly and vociferously making dictates on what you can do with your bodies and other issues that make you feel better, but don’t really do anything but make life rotten for the rest of us.

Sadly, you still are operating under the idea that unless it’s a wanted pregnancy, it doesn’t take a man. At least, that’s the logical conclusion that can be drawn. Somehow you seem to think that rape or a failed BC doesn’t require a man. After all, I did say that all pregnancies require a man and you challenged that, or do you know of some women that have suddenly developed asexual reproduction?

Actually, it was a Democrat led Supreme Court that decided Roe v. Wade. Obama Care was written by Democrats and now they are trying like hell to get Congressional funding for abortions at PP clinics and others around the country. We all know that PP is using the over $500M they get from the Federal govt to help elect Democrats to repeal Hyde.

When I said “you”, meaning the general majority as being selfish and immature, you certainly proved my point when saying that if YOU got pregnant, it would be all about YOU and how it would effect YOU. I guess when you see a separate individual living thing with it’s own DNA as a problem that’s going to cause you issues then what’s left but to kill it. It reminds me of another group that saw a group of separate living things with individual DNA as problems to be killed.

          • Shay

Oh I’m sorry, please explain to me then how if a random woman somewhere in the country gets pregnant, how exactly does that affect YOU as an individual?

Again, you seem to be missing my point. Your logical conclusion was not the one I was trying to express.
Yes obviously it takes a man to get a woman pregnant. And to that end, that SPECIFIC man has the right to voice his opinion on thay woman’s pregnancy. Every other man in the country? Not so much.

Are you insinuating that a woman having all the rights to what happens with HER body is equivalent to hate wars, such as the Holocaust or terrorism?
In that case, I am not surprised at all that feminism makes your life suck. You’re probably used to all the inequality and the fact that woman are taking back control of their bodies and health must just be so terribly awful for you.

You can express any misguided opinion you very well please but what you fail to understand is that expressing an opinion doesn’t give you the physical right to control someone else’s body. You think abortion is bad? Then don’t get one.
And let others make their own individual choices too.
Having an opinion of anything doesn’t give you the right to make laws such that everyone else must abide by whatever feelings you have in your head.

As for your comments on Democrats, again, you miss my point. I don’t care if theyou are Republican, democrat, tea party, green party, or any other party under the sky. The majority of lawmakers controlling WOMEN’s health are MEN.
But thank you for telling me the facts on who I should thank for allowing choice to be an option for women. #thanksobama

          • Shay

Also, you can think it selfish.
But heres the thing: people have the right to be selfish with their bodies if they very well want.

There’s no law that says “no man in this land shall ever put himself first and must always sacrifice everything including happiness for all their days for the sake of anyone else who thinks they’re being ‘selfish’ “.

If it bothers you so damn much and you think men should be allowed to be involved, then fine. How about this:
We make it law so that every time a woman gets pregnant, the man has to financially support half of every aspect of her pregnancy, start to finish. The man has to wear a suit that simulates every pain a woman will have for the duration of the 9 months. No taking it off, because a woman certainly cant for at least 36 weeks! The man must have a pain simulator attached to him as she gives birth so he can feel what she is feeling for every hour she’s in labor. The man must stay home from work for every day the woman stays home to care for the baby. The man must be injected with hormones to simulate the post-partum depression the woman will experience. The man must pay for half of the expenses required to nurse his woman back to pre-pregnancy health in her body. Oh and the man is legally required to marry the mother if she gets pregnant even if he hates her, because if she can’t back away from the baby, neither can he. The man must stay and care for the baby until it is 18.

If you disagree with any of this because “it’s my body and I have a right to refuse such things”, yet you would force a woman to endure all of these sufferings, then there’s no helping you.

          • Hunter Carwile

Wow, just wow! when they say “Ignorance is bliss.”, I always thought that is was just a saying. It must be wonderful living in your world where feelings matter and everything else is subjugated to them. I just love all of the virtue signaling you engage in, instead of substantial meaning. Yep, Men are the cause of all womyn’s problems!!!! EXCEPT, if it wasn’t for MEN, YOU couldn’t vote, YOU couldn’t get YOUR precious abortions, YOU wouldn’t be able to do many of the things that womyn can do now. YAY MEN!!!!!!! #menarethebest
Your statement “Having an opinion of anything doesn’t give you the right to make laws such that everyone else must abide by whatever feelings you have in your head.”, well this isn’t how Conservatives wish to make laws, but Democrats on the other hand love to do this. You might want to look at some of the laws in California or NY or the other Liberal/Progressive paradises. And don’t use abortion as an example. That should rightly be a State issue not a Federal one, that whole pesky 10th Amendment thing. But whenever your type don’t like something it’s attack rather than use those silly things called facts.

          • Shay

Please cite to me where I say feelings are more important than facts. I’ll wait.
In case you decided not to actually read my comments, I’ve specifically said repeatedly that a person’s feelings about someone else’s body choices doesn’t give them the right to make that choice for them.

Golly, you are making so much sense, I should just go thank every man ever for finally allowing women to have the equality they lacked due to the oppression of men. Give me a break. Read a history book, and you’ll see just how dumb you sound, considering all of the things you have “granted” us from your so called seat of godliness were only problems to begin with because of men like you thinking women don’t deserve the equality they have.

Please cite to me where I say I am a Democrat or a liberal. I’ll wait. Please explain to me what “my” type is. Other than a person who is advocating for a woman to have control over her OWN body, rather than let close minded backwards pricks tell her what she can and cannot do with it.

I’m done with this argument talking to you is like talking to a sexist brick wall.

          • Shay

P.s. It’s “selfish” to HAVE A baby knowing yiu can’t take care of it or give it a good life.
Examples: drug addicted parents, domestic violence, extreme poverty.

          • Mike

There are no waiting lines in adoption cliniques as there are not enough babies to go to the homes that want to adopt. Secondly, if women don’t want to get pregnant, a simple condom placed on the male penis usually stops that from happening. A woman has rights to not get pregnant, but once she is, the right to life belongs to the unborn baby. To end the life on purpose is called, “Murder.” And no one has the right to murder anyone.

          • Shay

And if you can’t afford to buy condoms? Also, emphasis on the “usually” stops pregnancies. Meaning not always. What then?

Mike, I respect that you feel obligated to follow your morals on this. But I think there is simply a fundamental difference between what you and pro-choice people consider murder to be. It is your opinion that the baby gets that right once it is conceived. I suppose on a basic level I simply cannot agree with that. I support the life at stake for carrying the baby: the mother. I say her rights trump those of an unborn fetus. Since it’s her body the baby will have to grow in and potentially destroy in order to be born.

          • Smalldeer

There are 107,918 foster children eligible for and waiting to be adopted in the US RIGHT NOW. So Mike, how about you asshats adopt THOSE ALREADY BORN CHILDREN instead of forcing women to be broodmares.

          • Craig

Smalldeer – should I assume that you are against more refugees coming in then?

          • Teresa Mohr Harris

You don’t have to be a “broodmare”. Use birth control, it’s free to all women.

          • Randall Bradley

Smalldeer, how do you know he hasn’t? You don’t know him. You don’t know me, either, and I adopted 3 special needs older children.

          • chainsawhandz

            So, like the death penalty?

          • Randall Bradley

Shay, you make an ignorant assumption. I get so tired of hearing that those of us on the pro life side don’t care about children after they are born. My wife and I adopted 3 special needs older children and provided foster care for another dozen children. And will you name an organization that does more for children than Catholic Social Services or Lutheran Social Services?
What have YOU done for such children? Stop speaking from ignorance.

          • mark smith

“…you despicable atheists…” Nice. So if I call you an ignorant moron because you believe in fairy tales would that offend you?

          • War_Wolf

Not as offended at the fact that your mother didn’t abort your sorry ass. BTW, I’m an agnostic; what I REALLY hate are people like you who are straight up arrogant, but in reality are clueless. I’ll throat strike a fool like you just as easily as I would a televangelist. Both of you are the damn problem.

          • Shay

Lmao advocating for abortion AND murder of a person all in a few sentences.
What were you saying about being pro-life?

          • War_Wolf

Personally, I’m VERY pro-life. Now, at the end of the day, such things are way out of my control, and quite honestly we should probably FORCE a few of them in blue states…. in ivy league colleges and upper Manhattan, but then again, they’re already doing that for us….. I’m for all of you libs killing yourselves either way.

I didn’t “advocate” for murder, you fricken moron; I said mark smith who I replied to should’ve been aborted (“should have” and “to do so” are two different things pin head)… As a matter of fact, I said “throat strike”; you may, or may not die from that. But wait a second now, is abortion now MURDER to you? Hmmmm….

          • Shay

“I said throat strike… you may or may not die from that” xD
            Oh dear god hahahaha

Okay well it’s obvious now you aren’t responding to have a meaningful or intelligent conversations and are simply reaching for reasons to win an argument at this point, so there’s really no helping you.

P.s. please show me where I say I’m liberal.
            P.s.s. since you’re throwing out misguided insults as you are clearly LOSING said argument, allow me to explain: now you’re supporting throat strikes (which, IS supporting murder if it can kill you dumbass that’s like saying ‘I support shooting you in the head but don’t say I said murder’);
            You support that someone should’ve been aborted (even though you’re against abortion? Lmao);

AND to top it all off, you support suicide of people? For having a higher education?

God I love how pro-life you are, what with hoping so many people DIE and all.
There’s really no helping you at this point you are close minded and looking for a fight, that you simply cannot win.

          • Rachael Narcissa

News flash, you guys DO believe in fairy tales. Jesus is magic!!!!

          • The media is our problem

            verses please?

          • The media is our problem

Can you provide me with the verse you’re referring to?

          • Kiki

Where does the bible say that the fetus is not a baby? Please give the scripture.

        • Pumpkin

You say “liberal” like it’s a bad thing. The fact of the matter is that liberals gave me, as a woman who isn’t White, the right to vote in the 1960s, and my parents the right to marry, despite being of different races. So if those are bad things, I’ll just be bad.

          • The media is our problem

you’re saddly misinformed, it was the republicans that gave you those rights, Liberals started the KKK to keep those rights from you.

don’t feel bad, its a common misconception

          • Pumpkin

And you can’t read. I never mentioned a political party.

          • Rachael Narcissa

            ^Word!

          • Kiki

I don’t believe you are informed on what these people intend to do to you and the rest of us. They want to put us all back to 1960 and a lot worse.

          • Pumpkin

I know that DT supporters would take away my right to vote, if they could. And he’d try to deport me, despite being born here. Am I supposed to carry my passport around with me? Who’s paying for this?

          • Craig

            Oh Pumpkin. Please wake up!!

          • Pumpkin

Please, tell me that I don’t have to worry about it. Go ahead.

          • Craig

Are you an American Citizen? Then Trump has never threatened to take away your right to vote OR threatened to deport you. And if you’re NOT a citizen – you have no right to be voting in the first place.

          • Pumpkin
          • Craig

I asked… are you an American CITIZEN.

          • Pumpkin

I know that DT supporters would take away my right to vote, if they could. And he’d try to deport me, despite being born here. Am I supposed to carry my passport around with me? Who’s paying for this?

          • Craig

I ask AGAIN… are you an American CITIZEN?

          • Pumpkin

You should be directing these questions to Mr. Trump.

          • Craig

If you are VOTING – you are committing a CRIME and should be reported. AND deported.

          • Pumpkin

            You sound angry.

          • Craig

It’s not the 1960’s anymore. The world has changed. A liberal is NOT what it used to be.

          • Pumpkin

The idea of equality still applies. If you have specific objections, it’s better to list them, instead of crying about liberals.

          • Craig

Liberals aren’t fighting for equality. They SAY they are. But they’re not actually doing it.

          • Pumpkin

And conservatives don’t even bother trying to hide their intentions.

          • Craig

Their intention to fight for your right to say what you want? If Liberals had their way – no one would ever again be able to say anything that THEY considered ‘Anti-Liberal’. Fact is – liberals are the ‘bad guys’ not the ‘republicans’.

          • ashleydempsey

            No, only Democrats do!

          • 8 Laces

I think you better revisit your history book. The civil rights movement was championed by the Republican party. Only 6 Rep. senators voted against the Civil Rights Act compared to 21 Democrats
In the House 91 Democrats voted against it while only 35 Reps voted nay. In all over 80% of Republicans voted in favor of the bill while just over 60% of Democrats did the same. Had the majority of Republicans voted against it, the Civil Rights Act would not passed either House of Congress.

          • Pumpkin

I never mentioned a political party.

          • 8 Laces

You didn’t, that’s true. I guess I read between the lines a little considering the majority of liberals tend to run as Democrats and conservatives as Republicans. Obviously there are liberal Reps. and conservative Dems., but we both know there aren’t many of either.

          • Pumpkin

I really dislike the two party system, as it exists currently. I like to think that most of us are actually somewhere in the middle, ideologically.

          • KeepOnLearning

You should read up how it was Democrats who fought Civil Rights until one of them, JFK, changed their tide.

          • Pumpkin

I’m aware. That’s when the parties switched. Now it’s Rs who are fighting against civil rights.

          • KeepOnLearning

Liberal has its excellent points, but Leftist and the PC Police only make enemies for the Centrist Liberal who’d like a little less Bible Belt in government.
We wouldn’t have Trump, if we hadn’t had Obama.

        • StopBullyingMe Waaaaaaaahhhhhh

They seem to disregard the fact that weed does cause lung cancer while they eat deep fried kale too. “It’s better for you over alcohol though”.

          • mark smith

Please cite any reputable evidence that shows a correlation between marijuana and cancer. I’ll wait.

          • Shay

            This is 100% false.
Minus the part where it’s better for you than alcohol. That’s been scientifically proven.

    • Sk3ptile

I believe in a woman’s right to choose what to do with her body, which is why I am anti-abortion. If she isn’t allowed to live she obviously can’t make any choices at all. Even if B&J’s wasn’t too expensive for my pallet I wouldn’t give it to my children it would be too ironic. “Here kids, I bought this from a company that supports me killing you and calls it a right. Yummy, huh?”

      • LittlePattyPissyPants

        Are you OK?

      • Ralazar

If you can’t see the difference in what you said and what pro-choice individuals believe, there’s no helping you.

      • Lily Lim

What about women who were raped? Women who are underage? Women who are too poor to give a baby a good life? Why is a fetus without a brain more important than a woman who is already alive and suffering?

        • Sk3ptile

Who raped them? The baby or the father? If we must kill someone for this crime let us be sure to get the correct person . I have a friend who’s step father raped her then covered the crime by taking her to the abortion clinic. It wasn’t until she was pregnant a second time and her mother found out first that he was caught and done away with like the trash he was. It was because of the pregnancy that the abuse ended. She cries when she talks about the first one, “The one he made me murder.” Had it not been for abortion the abuse would have ended three years earlier. As for underage pregnancy us there truly such a thing? When did we decide women must be in their twenties to carry? Do not get me wrong, l am not for children getting impregnated but when l worked over seas it was perfectly common for girls 12-15 to be married with multiple children. They were running an entire household and not even out of their teens yet. Then l return to America, we have every modern luxury, the world’s safest hospitals, and many gov funded leg ups like WIC and preschool then we tell our young women “you are too young and incapable.” I do not like the idea of girls that young marrying but l think we far underestimate the abilities of even the youngest of our ladies and that is very unempowering. When you consider the how much higher the rates of depression and suicide are for women who’ve had abortions are vs those who’ve hadn’t l think we should be more encouraging. Replace “Oh no, what are you going to do?’ with “Congratulations. What can l do to help you get ready?” As for women who are too poor to give a good life; l find it odd that this argument shows up so often in a society that keeps insisting that “money cannot buy you happiness.” How poor is too poor to be born? Poor as Dolly Parton was in the beginning or Beethoven? Poor as Abraham Lincoln? Audrey Hepburn? Jesus Christ? And suppose the mother begins weathly but goes bankrupt after her child is born? Then what? As for your final question; Is she more important than a brainless fetus? A brainless fetus is a dead fetus and the living is typically more valuable than the dead, so yes. But fetuses have brains. If they did not partial birth abortions (something B&J’s supports) would not be possible. You might argue that their brain is still in development and that is true but it stays in development long after they are born and even into the teen years. In the end it is just a question of value. Is a human life valuable when still unborn? A beating heart, ability to react to simulation, and observing that it grows tells us it is alive. DNA tells us it is human. Is a living human being valuable? Does he/she have a right to live as much as our offspring who we allowed to? I say yes. I must say yes because I was that fetus once and so were you. Regardless of whatever story lead to your existence you are are a person and that makes you valuable from the womb to the tomb.

    • Dr Anon

You know most abortions are colored babies, right? You want more welfare leeches and criminals?

      • Smalldeer

What is this 1940? I guess you are not aware that in almost all fifty state those that receive welfare are REQUIRED to work in order to receive ANY benefits. There are more WHITE PEOPLE on welfare than black people.

        • Dr Anon

I guess you are not aware that scaled to the percentage of the population coloreds represent, they use more welfare than whites. It only appears that whites are welfare users because the absolute number of whites is higher. Now you know; even though critical thinking has gone out of style in 2016.

Have you seen the late 2015 New York Daily News article about two N.J. ????cops????, Orlando Trinidad and Sean Courter, who are in prison right now for five years mandatory minimum no parole, for beating a black motorist with his “Hands up, don’t shoot!”? Not only did those two ????cops???? beat a black motorist with his hands up, they then conspired in a coverup conspiracy.

New Jersey cops found guilty of falsifying police reports in 2012 traffic stop of man exonerated by dashcam video

        http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crime/new-jersey-cops-found-guilty-falsifying-police-reports-article-1.2426193

Two New Jersey police officers were found guilty of tampering and other official misconduct Thursday in a June 2012 traffic stop on the Garden State Parkway.

Essex County prosecutors said dashcam video disproved Bloomfield officers Sean Courter and Orlando Trinidad’s claims that Marcus Jeter tried to grab Courter’s gun and hit Trinidad. The footage shows Jeter holding his hands up in his car and yelling out “I did nothing wrong!” as officers pull him out of an SUV and cuff him.

Prosecutors dropped Jeter’s charges of eluding, resisting arrest, aggravated assault and attempting to disarm a police officer after his attorney got a second video of the arrest through an open records request, according to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.

A jury convicted them of official misconduct, conspiracy to commit official misconduct, tampering with public records, falsifying public records and false swearing. Jurors also convicted Trinidad of simple assault rather than his original aggravated assault charge, NJ.com. The Bloomfield Police Department had suspended both Trinidad and Courter without pay for over two years.

Both those ????cops???? are in state prison until late-2020.

Ex-cop sent to prison for false police reports, striking victim

        http://www.nj.com/essex/index.ssf/2016/01/ex-cop_sent_to_prison_for_false_police_reports_str.html

Trinidad, 34, of Bloomfield, must serve the entire sentence without an opportunity to be released on parole, and he will receive credit for 78 days of time served.

In New Jersey, an official misconduct charge carries a mandatory five-year prison sentence with a five-year period of parole ineligibility.

Second former cop headed to prison for false police reports

        http://www.nj.com/essex/index.ssf/2016/02/second_former_cop_headed_to_prison_for_false_polic.html

But the judge sentenced Courter to a five-year state prison term with a five-year period of parole ineligibility, which represents the mandatory minimum sentence required under state law for the official misconduct charge against him. Courter will receive credit for 110 days of time served.

Ravin acknowledged the difficult circumstances facing Courter’s family – referring to them as “gut-wrenching” – but said they don’t rise to the level of “extraordinary” circumstances needed for a lesser sentence, and he declined to waive the requirement for the mandatory sentence on the official misconduct charge.

        • firemanemt4ever.

So for a few officers actions you want to condemn them all? Its like saying all muslims are terrorists because of a few bad people. Grow up.

Nope, that isn’t my intention at all. There are good cops and bad ????cops????. I am pointing out a few bad ????cops???? (I could post tons more stories), for the mindless ‘all cops is good, they has the badges!’ commenters.

You know the Faux “News” regular Sheriff David Clarke????, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin? Have you seen the federal civil rights lawsuit he’s being sued in for COVERUP CONSPIRACY, for violating an accident victim woman’s Constitutional rights?

Sheriff Clarke confronted after FOX6 investigation prompts federal lawsuit

        http://fox6now.com/2014/07/07/fox6-investigation-prompts-a-lawsuit-crash-victim-filing-federal-suit-against-sheriff-clarke-others/

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Accused of a cover-up, Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke and four of his deputies are named as co-defendants in a federal civil rights lawsuit — and it all started with a FOX6 investigation that garnered national attention. A sober driver was arrested for drunk driving in February of 2013 — and she’s still fighting back.

When a Sheriff’s deputy T-boned her car last year, Tanya Weyker suffered more than a broken neck. She suffered the indignity of a false arrest for driving while intoxicated.

Now, she has filed a federal civil rights lawsuit.

Once again Ben & Jerry show their social conscience. Who cares what the racists at Blue Lives Matters say? I’ll be sure to go out and buy some Ben & Jerry’s tonight.

    • Donna Blair

If you don’t support the police, then don’t call them in you are a victim of a crime.

      • Ralazar

You can be against Blue Lives Matter and still support the police. Besides, people pay taxes which goes to funding police. They deserve protection.

        • americanscott

Blue Lives Matter started with the police, and are the police. You are a drooling idiot if you think Blue Lives is racist. You do know not all cops are White, right? Do you understand that “Blue” is not a race? Do you also get that Blacks tear up their own neighborhoods and kill each other at an alarming rate? I guess their lives only matter if they get busted by the cops.
Black Lives is is terrorist group, period. And none those assholes deserve any kind of reparations. As far as I’m concerned, the Black community as a whole has gotten billions in welfare. That should cover it. Also paid for by us taxpayers, btw.

          • Janice Marie

You sound silly. Betty Shelby who killed innocent black man who had his hands up did not deserve to be killed. She was charge for man slaughter and fired. I guess her boss didn’t agree with her actions. There are whites that support BLM. I’m black and I’m not on welfare. But there are white folks that’s on welfare too. I guess didn’t you didn’t know that. Do your research before you start commenting on stuff you don’t nothing about

I never said anything about racism in my comment, which makes your response very strange.

That being said, just because Blue Lives Matter is made up of all races, it’s predominantly white and individuals in the movement can still be racist.

What I CAN tell, though, is that the way that you focus on the Black community shows that you do exhibit some racism. It makes much more sense to look at it as a socioeconomic situation rather than bringing race into it.

There are studies out there that prove institutional bias, yet the police just plug up their ears and ignore any attempts to get them to listen.

I can tell that you and I probably can’t come to any sort of agreement here, so I’m going to assume that further discourse between us is futile. I’m sure that won’t stop you from responding and insulting me, though.

BLM was at the DNC. Hillary was welcoming them along with a street thugs mother, Michael Brown’s mother.

A kid who robbed a store, walked in the middle of the road and attack a cop. To democrats they are hero’s.

Blacks mostly vote Democrat because the democrats have them believing republicans are racist. The Democrats held the slaves, started the KKK, voted against civil rights and desegregation of the military and the schools.

Black Lives Matter is a democrat hate group.

    Sent to Ben & Jerry’s….

Ben & Jerry’s: You should expand into lollipops. Here’s one for you: “The Manipulated Sucker.” Here’s the “scoop” on cops and blacks. Twice as many stories exist of white guys getting into crazy, deadly situations with cops, than they do for black guys. Once you understand police work, you see how almost all these police actions are justified. The media shows only the black incidents to a naive public, and in each case it is never the whole story. Then add in the public’s explicit bias against police, and of course the public judges poorly.

Ben and Jerry have been suckered. They are well-meaning, but by speaking up, they can now be called jackasses. No more of their ice cream for me.

    • Janice Marie

They were armed. 99.5% of police shootings were justified. Media is just focusing on a couple. Do you think it was ok that police were murdered recently shot point blank by black criminals????? BLM has pushed for that. BLM is domestic terrorism. They have called for death to all police and all whites. You do know some of the recent police shootings were black cops right????? Get a grip Janice.

          • Shemar Moore Twin

The Charleston shooter was armed and arrested fed lunch of his choice and released peacefully so everyone should get that treatment correct?

Your post is so stupid Im surprised you function at all.

If you weren’t sipping that Kool-Aid, you’d realize that almost without exception, the cops were in the right. If someone threatens a cop, they deserve the consequences of that action. • firemanemt4ever.

So sorry, where did i write that black lives dont matter? I didnt. All LIves Matter. When you have a gun in your hand and you refuse commands or lunge after officers you get what is coming to you. Shemar if you had any sense you would know cold hard facts. Fact 1 More Whites have been shot and killed by police. Fact 2 99% of those shot and killed by police refused commands or fought with officers. How would you like someone who is waiving a gun and points it at officers threatening everyone. IT DOESNT MATTER THE COLOR. You will get shot and statistics show more whites have been stupid and have been shot and killed. You dont see whites rioting and looting their home towns over this. You only see blacks. I know many blacks and even they are disgusted with BLM they are bashing the retards who keep rioting and looting and say they are an insult to all blacks which i would agree.

        • DVM

Another angry and incorrect bs shoveler. Since there appears to be a bias, lets go to the VIDEOTAPE…shot and killed hands up, unarmed trying to fix flat tire on the side of the road. Illegal immigrants, hispanics, blacks, arab islamic ragheads, east Indians, are in fact the majority living off welfare and it doesn’t end there, the majority also live off government freehand outs, special programs to get free or cheap project housing, free medicaid/medicare, foodstamps, heck some of you sick perverted assholes take all this free shit, and still sell dope, illegal firearms and even work under the table. Shit son, even a ton of you even commit insurance fraud as well LOL You best unfuck yourself and wake up… And, ahem, as for your comment that there are more whites on welfare LOL BULLLLSHIT. By the way, black folk are the minority of America, dumbass. So get your figures in check shithead. Lastly, out of the welfare cases, it’s also proven that the same people I mentioned above are also the majority that commit CRIMES in our country. Again, go fuck yourself. F….4ever if all lives matter does it not make sense that Black Lives Matter? It’s a little telling when an officer in a helicopter refers to a Black Man as a “bad dude.” So although I think that Ben & Jerry’s have odd flavors, they have a new customer in me. SALUTE

        • Tia Hopkins

Threatening? Not following commands? I’m sick of seeing people say this! I’m going to need all you people who do not agree with Black Lives Matter to DO YOUR RESEARCH, and not go off of what Fox and Friends say. Go on the BLM’s website, and check out what they have to say, before you just go off of what other people say. I cannot stress more on how Black Lives Matter is not about how ONLY black lives are important. It’s about how other people of different races, and the same race, need to see that African Americans are being over looked and judged before we even get the chance to speak. Yes we all matter, but it seems like in a country where “everyone is free” the only people that seem to have the most difficult time are African Americans, and we are trying to fight against that oppression. Do your research and stop listening to bias people…

      • Cornelius Von

Hey, Janice, do you support BLM when they hurt innocent people? Do you support BLM when they burn down innocent people’s businesses. Do you support BLM keeping innocent people from getting to work and home from work by stopping traffic? Do you support BLM damaging innocent people’s cars in those traffic blocks? Do you support BLM making it difficult for ambulances to get through those traffic blocks? Do you support BLM when it loots innocent people’s businesses? Do you support BLM when they kill innocent policemen that never killed a black man in their career? Sounds like you do.

        • Janice Marie

I’m didn’t read your whole comment because you not making sense. black lives matter. If you don’t see that we don’t have anything to discuss. Have good day!

          • Cornelius Von

Problem with you, sweetie, is that I’m making too much sense and you can’t deal with it. All lives matter, and just because there are some bad apples in our law enforcement does not give you, or anyone else the right to harm innocent people, or destroy their property, or steal what doesn’t belong to them. If the protests were just protests and done peacefully, it wouldn’t be a problem. It is a problem because BLM protests often become violent and destructive. If you can’t open your eyes and see that, then it’s because you don’t want to and you want to play the victim card.

          • Janice Marie

No your not making sense. But there know need to go back and forth with someone who is clueless. Have a good day

          • Cornelius Von

            You just proved my point.

          • Janice Marie

Okay. Again you not making any sense. I’m not going to go back and forth with someone who don’t know what BLM stand for. If you don’t support it thats on you. But stay off my comment. Thank you! Have nice day

        • Pumpkin

Yes. Because when Black people protest peacefully, somehow others are still offended.

          • Cornelius Von

Peacefully is fine but excuse me, there have been many non peaceful incidents where lives are endangered and property is stolen and destroyed.

          • Shay

Just because a lot of black communities are in poverty and sell drugs or use violence doesn’t mean all African Americans do those things. Yes black on black crime is an issue. Yes cops have been coming around searching cars. Beating us, arresting us, killing us, giving us tickets for many reasons they would let others go (I have many white friends who have gotten away with many things in my town vs. me and other blacks) all this to say BLM means love! We want to stop all violence… no one is trying to murder cops!! That’s stupid and a waste of time. No one is collecting 100 million d
ollars like this article says. Or close charter schools. This site is promoting racism. black people cannot be racist against people and a system built to be against us. That website does not represent what all of these people are PEACEFULLY protesting for. Look at the time all of the white people woth guns have got together to “protest” something .. WHY do you have guns??? Remember when they (sorry do not know the organization) got together to protest the muslims from going to church?!? A free right. This country has became so backwards…. Why do we need to try and bring down a group of people trying to prevent the murdering of African Americans? Cops are not the enemy. Racist and hateful people are

          • Cornelius Von

That was a mouthful, Shay. Your question” “Why do we need to try and bring down a group of people trying to prevent the murdering of African Americans?” If that group of people are trying to stop violence, then they won’t do it with violence. As I’ve said, they have the right to their opinions and their protests, but not in a violent way.

          • Pumpkin

Are you sure? Because Colin Kaepernick and high school students are getting death threats for peacefully protesting. Furthermore, just as you ask that all cops not be judged by the bad ones, neither should all BLM protestors be judged by the troublemakers.

          • Cornelius Von

I don’t judge peaceful BLM protesters based on the non-peaceful protesters. What I do see is protesters become rioters and looters and property destroyers in the name of BLM. If they don’t represent BLM, then BLM needs to disown them and call them out. There is nothing wrong with peaceful protesters. Just like bad cops don’t represent all cops, then I can understand that bad BLM protesters that become rioters, looters and destroyers of others’ property don’t represent all BLM’ers. As far as Kaepernick and those that choose to not respect our flag or anthem, which they have a right to, they have become a nuisance to those that love to watch the games and sporting events. Sports spectators don’t want politics mixed in with their pastime. The paid athletes are on the job and many employers don’t allow politics in the work area because of the controversy it causes. Death threats are often just verbal threats from the mouths of immature people. I’m sorry that immature people exist but they do.

          • Pumpkin
          • F.Sankoh

When the good cops start calling out the bad ones then you may have a point. Until then………..

          • Nefarious420

That’s like saying you support the ISIS, Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood, but only the peaceful members not doing the killing.

          • Cornelius Von

Nefarious, No, it doesn’t. We’re talking about one group here, the BLM, and they are entitled to their peaceful protesting for what they believe even if we don’t agree with them. BLM does have a problem in that people are becoming violent at some of their protests and rioting, attacking and hurting innocent people, and destroying property in the name of BLM. I can’t condemn those that have a right to their protests as long as they stay peaceful (non-violent) and not become violent. Very simple. If BLM doesn’t want to be labeled as violent and terrorists, then the peaceful ones need to condemn the violent ones. BTW, I do not support ISIS, Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood. They are not at all about being peaceful but it’s a moot point about them having “peaceful members not doing the killing”.

          • Nefarious420

When the people funding and committing the murders is helping fund your organization, and has its cause accepted into its very charter…. that does kind of stink you have to admit.

          • Cornelius Von

            Sounds pretty stinky.

          • Teknikid

I think the video of the “protesters” throwing someone into a bonfire makes us pretty damn sure.

          • Nefarious420

You can support black peoples lives without supporting Black Lives Matter which has attached itself to the Muslim Brotherhood Charter. I guess if you support the killing of civilians and police, you should keep on supporting them, and probably should be added to the No Fly List if you’re not already on it.

          • Pumpkin

If they were killing civilians and police on sight, there’d be a lot more murders. Do you know how awful you have to be to get upset at Black people defending themselves? Did you also protest the Civil Rights Movement?

          • Nefarious420

How many of the BLM activists that have appeared on TV defending the cause have been arrested for committing gun crimes? It is quite a few actually. I am all for black people and all people standing up against the violence, but not by attaching their charter to the BDS Movement which is funded by Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood, and Hezbollah.

So preach about how much Black Lives Matter, but according to their own published charter on their website, they support terror.

          • Teknikid

It would be refreshing to see them actually protest peacefully. When it’s not peaceful (which has been the case of late), we call it a riot.

          • Pumpkin

I wonder if anyone called the Boston Tea Party a riot…

        • Marc Lefebvre

Do you support Blue Lives Matter when they hurt innocent people. Or just gin up excuses. lol.

          • Cornelius Von

I don’t support anybody that hurts innocent people. That includes BLM, law enforcement, etc. There are bad apples in every vocation and I think they should be dealt with accordingly. But there are many great guys and gals that do the right thing and without them, we would have a lawless society which we’re edging in on now if things don’t change.

        • F.Sankoh

And can you actually cite evidence to back up your claim or are you just using Faux News Talking points?

          • Cornelius Von

What claim are you talking about, F. Sankoh? I don’t watch the news.

          • F.Sankoh

            My point is proven.

        • Im Everywhere

And how about when a couple teenagers beat and robbed a marine because he didn’t answer about blm.

          • Cornelius Von

Exactly what is your question, Bobby Ashley? Beating and robbing anybody is violence and a criminal act. Not sure what you’re asking me.

        • Floyd LeVere II

Cornelius, do you support white kids burning a college campus because their team lost?

          • Cornelius Von

What do you even mean? Why would I support anybody burning a college campus for any reason? That’s violence no matter how you look at it. Doesn’t matter what color they are.

      • natasia edwards

        I’m with you Janice ????

      • James Stone II

Ben & Jerry’s just became my favorite brand.

        • The media is our problem

Well then eat your weights worth and join the rest of the overweight lazy liberals out there

          • James Stone II

I certainly will eat all of it I want, but your mother, wife, and sister will lick it off my balls bitch.

          • TC NY

Now, now, James… leave the vulgarities to the “right.” It is, after all, their favorite form of communication.

          • James Stone II

            True.

          • The media is our problem

Sorry they don’t like homos but your boyfriend could probably help you out there

      • firemanemt4ever.

To all those who say they will buy more Ben and Jerry’s or in support of Black Lies Matter. Listen up. If the so called BLM group really cared about black lives why dont you see them protesting and condemning little black kids who get shot and killed in cities across this nation by other blacks? Why dont you see them protesting elderly black person who was beaten to death over 10.00 by a black person? BLM should be condemning this senseless violence not some criminal with a mile long list who points a gun at officers or some teenager who points a gun at police or tries to run with a gun in hand. The real problem is out there and yet they choose to focus on one thing. That right there is a problem and has fueled hatred towards police when 99.5% of them what to help. STOP CONDEMNING POLICE. How about you focus on the real problems with cities, the gangs, the drugs, and other violence

        • Ken’Drea Johnson Mayes

          And racism..

        • toles5

you are correct in saying they should be concerned with more than this one issue, that was the core reason they came into existence, but they don’t, does that make the thing that they protest invalid?

      • justjan

Let’s hope BLM doesn’t come to your town and burn it down like Ferguson MO. Because no one is going to pay you for your lost items. Enjoy your Ben & Jerry’s while you live in a tent.

        • Shemar Moore Twin

As a guy from Ferguson MO it was a riot incited by police….

          • Forest Hillz

Oh of course a guy who participated in the riots would say it was because of the police.

        • toles5

they have been to my town plenty of times, with plenty of rallies

      • CAFM

Welcome to the George Soros Useful Idiot Club.

      • Ernie Orlando

NO….you need help. you are 100% wrong…you idiot!!

        • toles5

          how

        • Janice Marie

Actually you’re wrong we know you are an idiot. Have a good day

      • Do you really think cops support killing innocent people?

You must live in a fantasy world.

Here is a link to the US Department of Justice data for murder in 2011. (http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2011/crime-in-the-u.s.-2011/tables/expanded-homicide-data-table-6)

Let’s look at the numbers and do a little math.

In 2011, total number of blacks murdered 2,695. Of those, 193 (7.1 %) were murdered by whites.
In 2011, total number of whites murdered 3,172. Of those 448 (14.1%) were murdered by blacks.

The numbers are quite clear. Blacks murder whites twice as often as whites murder blacks.

But even more important – blacks murder the over 90% of all black victims.

Blaming cops for black social pathology is a convenient excuse. But it will not fix the problem.

PC liberal denial of black social pathology only makes the problem worse. And more blacks will die because of PC BS.

Pull your head out of your ass.

        • Janice Marie

I’m not going to read your whole comment. Because you not making any sense. What we do know and it’s fact that cops are killing innocent people. Tried googling Betty Shelby as well Philandro Castile. I could be spelling his name wrong. He was the guy who was gun down for reaching for his license and he told the officer he has gun and a permit to carry. So if you cant understand that was wrong and why BLM Matter then we don’t have anything to discuss..

        • toles5

the difference is criminals are not public workers that are supposed to protect people.

      • S. Libby Cyr

And totally disregarding the fact that the BS “hands up…..” thing was a total lie from people bent on benefiting from the death of this thug who had just robbed a store at gunpoint, and attempted to kill a cop just doing his job is okay, right? I’m sure you must also be applauding the cold blooded murder of the young female officer who left behind a husband and 4 month old daughter. Have another sip of Kool-Aid.

      • Nefarious420

Nice to see you support terrorism in America. Black Lives Matter supports the Muslim Brotherhood Charter in its entirety, they support killing of anyone not BLM, as well as terror attacks on American Soil, and abroad.

        • BLM

Ok! Obviously you don’t know what your talking about

          • Nefarious420

I know very well, unlike you I read their charter, and them attaching it to the terrorist BDS movement funded by Hamas, Hezbollah, Muslim Brotherhood makes them complicit in terror here and abroad.

    • DVM

      Uh, wrong on all counts.

    • T.C. Bond

And you would be the expert on cops and black right?….I think not. Your lack of research is showing because to say there are twice as many white suspect deadly officer involved involved shootings is inaccurate. What we do see on the news are whites shooting up schools, churches, and movie theaters and living to see a trial unless they commit suicide. What we do see is an enormous racial disparity when it comes to how officers mostly white, but sometimes black, or of other ethnicity and how they handle African American suspects. So once you understand systematic oppression then people of color being upset far greater than you could imagine for a laundry list of reasons is justified. The media shows what is captured on video and in news conferences and depending on what network you watch depends on the bias. You do realize become a police officer is a choice and skin color is not, and uniform or not they are still part of the public?!? To say someone or some company is a jackass for taking a stance and speaking up on a social justice issue, shows the true jackass which is you but I bet you were quiet when ChickFilA took a stance. I bet you’re a huge supporter of the second amendment too. I’m sure one less idiot customer like you is someone they’re ok either letting go of.

      • Dave W

I appreciate your comments. They give insight into the overall situation with blacks and cops, which I actually wasn’t trying to address, or be an authority on. I was explaining as succinctly as possible the topic of police *killings*. Sure, there’s a historical problem that probably continues today with disrespect of blacks/people of color. But I think the killings are a separate issue, and shouldn’t be used to try to convince people of the disrespect problem.

The killings have been distorted, sometimes unintentionally, but often naively and dishonestly. That will not lead to a good solution of a disrespect problem.

I don’t want to create any more damage to the black psyche.

    • ZH

This comment shows the utter lack of comprehension of what the BLM movement stands for that has come to dominate it’s criticisms. Thank you for demonstrating this so completely and succinctly.

  • John Barbour

What a bunch of horseshit, B & J. Not touching your so-so product again.

  • Lacey Sheridan

    Done.

  • williamdecade

its a little too late for a website, spreading “good will”, respect, and asking for support! Need time direct your complaints to your corrupt, thieving, raping, murderous coworkers. The “bad apple” excuse became irrelevant a long time ago.

  • John Latter

    Ben and Jerry’s ice cream don’t matters….

  • IN Patriot

I can’t boycott them for this. I am already boycotting them for all the other leftist crap that they promote

  • Dottie Nicholson

    Never buy it again

  • Michael Friedl

Meh, doesn’t bother me. I just eat Baskin Robbins.

  • You guys are deranged to want to boycott a company for making a statement on an obvious problem in today’s society.

    • firemanemt4ever.

No company should endorse hateful tone of Black lives matter. So those who endorse a group like BLM who has called for harm to police, fire and ems. Who will you call when you need help? What will you do if no one is there to respond??? Yeah even fire and ems are being threatened by the terrorists BLM.

      • You do realise that they are the extremists of the group and don’t really represent what the movement is about, right? Or have other “organisations” like Blue Lives Matter/All Lives Matter brainwashed you of that?

  • Jimbo Jones

I usually don’t eat ben and jerry’s guess i’ll try them out.

  • TheThinker1958

I know how Blue Lives Matter can gain some points. Next time where 10 officers are surrounding an unarmed Black person, if one of the 10 officers shoots the unarmed person, the other 9 will look good if they don’t join the shooting. Or if they show the intention of stopping the officer that is shooting the Black guy. Or just somebody saying “why did you shoot 15 times?”… something like this could show all America that BLM is wrong on accusing all the police departments.

    • firemanemt4ever.

So you support a company that supports Domestic Terrorism. Any group that chants death to police, first responders including fire and ems as well as all whites. That is a huge problem for me. Who will you call if you need an ambulance? Who will you call if your house is burning? Who will you call if you are being robbed?? Police and Fire and if we keep getting threatened by the crimianls of BLM then who will respond????/ Put out your own damned fire, fix yourself if you have a heart attack. too bad if your being robbed and raped if you dont like the police. GET A BRAIN DEE!!!!!

      • Dee

ill cal 911 and hope i get one of the many good ones, unlike the one i got when i was assaulted. he blamed me then asked if i really wanted to make a report. i have a neck fracture that i am still dealing with.

  • LadyoftheCats

I will definitely boycott Ben & Jerry’s. I will have nothing to do with a company that puts down law enforcement.

  • Nothingisfreeinthislife

Hippy liberal losers over at B&J….. they hate cops until they need one…. I am not a cop by the way. I am just not a liberal loser.

  • Jim Couch

I will be buying Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. I support anything that brings scrutiny to America’s Fascist Police State and unnecessary police murders. If you Jack-boots don’t want to be seen as a gang of ruthless thugs stop acting like one and clean up your dirty cops instead of shielding them from justice.

    • firemanemt4ever.

So you support BLM who has called for death to first responders including fire fighters, emts, police, and all whites??? You are no better then a murderer yourself. SO you are ok with guys waiving guns around and threatening harm to people and then get shot and killed by police. You are on the criminals side???? YOU ARE A MORON!!!

  • DatBus

Its time for some PATRIOT LAWYERS to start SUING THE HELL out of all these radical, anti-American groups. And teach useful idiots like Ben and Jerry who keeps them safe at night. Smash cultural marxism once and for all!

  • Eddie Smith

Well this is beyond idiotic. Everyone knows donuts kill more cop pigs then ice cream. Boycott Krispy kreme

    • firemanemt4ever.

You completly missed the point. No company should be chosing sides. Ben and Jerry’s has chosen violence side. So you are ok with violence? When you have BLM chanting death to police, death to first responders, death to whites??? You know we as fire fighters and emts now have to watch our backs because of the racist pieces of shit known as BLM. BLM under Bush would have been classified as domestic terrorism.

      • Eddie Smith

Who’s killing firefighters? Show me those statistics. Companies aren’t supposed to take sides? I read what Ben and Jerry’s releases it’s respectful and just because you disagree with their point that’s them choosing violence? Was Tamir rice violence? Was philando castile violence? What about the guy who’s car stalled out? I can’t think that theres a systemic bias in a system that’s not all bad without being labeled a terrorist? And do we really think the man that got us into a war with a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 should be able to say who terrorists are? Yeah I think it’s bullshit.

Also I’ve been to blm protests as a white guy. No one shouted for me to die Here in atlanta

        • firemanemt4ever.

They are targeting them numb nuts. We have been warned at our fire house. Guess you didnt see the riots where bricks and fire fighters were targeted. YOU ARE A MORON!!!!

        • firemanemt4ever.

Go enjoy your Blow and Job ice cream. Go support Black Lies Matter. You bash police yet who will you call if you are being robbed??????????????????????

          • Eddie Smith

By saying they maybe shouldn’t kill as many unarmed black people as they do that’s bashing them? Also they’re targeting firehouse AND bricks?? Well that’s too far ur right #bricklivesmatters.

  • catsan

    I’ll eat twice as much.

  • Anthony gianoulos

A thug group of uneducated idiots. In the beginning, i could see thier point, but as time went on, its a hate group. We as americans need to rise up and put this shit down. The longer we keep silent, the more brave they get. There are groups ready to do just this, but waiting for that 1 thing to happen. Getting close to it. But i say move now!

  • Anthony gianoulos

I dig how some on here hide thier profile while running thier mouths with this blacks lives matter. Lmfao, sounda like spoiled babies. Fucking retards, have a seat. I dont get mad at ur comments or ur threats. Shows ur educations level and ur inability to actually have a discussion. Keep that protesting shit right where you all been doing it at. Do i think your actually getting anywhere with all that YOU PEOPLE are doing? Lmao, aahhhhh, priceless!!!! I got a life, real great one at that. You ought to try that. Oh wait, i forgot its easier to steal, loot and demand what u want rather then to educate, work

  • Jennifer Campion

Done! I will NOT support a hate group. Bye bye B&J.

  • DVM

The outrage and bs boycott against B&J says more about the horrible hateful detractors than them. Let’s say it again as simply as possible in hopes that those of you who need to get it actually do. B&J took a compassionate and courageous stand against targeted violence and systemic racism NOT against officers or any other group, nor did they say other lives are less important. If ALL lives matter doesn’t that include black lives or are you angrily agreeing that they don’t? The funniest of all are you “Christian’s”. Here’s a tip…Go reread and meditate on Matthew 7:1-3.

    • I AM DEPLORABLE ✓ᵀᴿᵁᴹᴾ

      RACIST TROLL

      • DVM

Amusingly angry. Ok. Not Matthew… valium?

  • DVM

Just out of curiosity, with so many outstanding officers far outnumbering the criminals with a badge, why do you protect them? Shouldn’t they be held accountable for their actions like everyone else?

    • I AM DEPLORABLE ✓ᵀᴿᵁᴹᴾ

Nice of you to join today to bring us your racist TROLLING.

  • Lisa

No way will I EVER stop supporting this company to appease racists. All I will say is bravo to Ben & Jerry’s for acknowledging the problem, and doing something positive about it. If anything, I will buy more of their products.

    • firemanemt4ever.

So you support B & J because they are supporting a racist hateful organization such as BLM which has called for death to all police, and harm to first responders?? Wow!!! So who will you call when you need help? You do know police have shot and killed more whites than blacks but to BLM that doesnt matter. You do know that 99% of those shot and killed did something deserving of being shot right??? Please check the facts. This is why B & J should be boycotted for supporting domestic terrorist organization known as Black Lives Matter.

  • Kathleen

This BLM Group is saying that Black Lives Matter but I haven’t seen them do any PROTESTING in the bad areas of Chicago . You would think they would considering alot more killed there yearly then are killed by police. Why don’t they protest there ? Are they afraid they will be killed too ? Or are they just out to stop having police do thier job ? You would think they would be trying to stop the killing not Promote them.

  • James Stone II

You asshats should be ashamed of yourselves for whinning about finally reaping what you’ve sewn for decades. You’re undertrained bullies that stomp all over the Constitution you’re sworn to protect. Your lives matter far less than others because you choose this profession and then make that choice as terrible as you can buy trashing the rights of the people. However, you can’t hide your heinous actions any longer, so your pandering for sympathy truly reveals the weak minded simpletons that you really are. While you attempt to boycott one place, we will boycott EVERY BUSINESS WITH YOUR BULLSHIT “Back the Blue.” I sincerely hope more of you find other professions where you’re natural inbred racists views can be buried along side your sniffing candidate.

    • Kathleen

      WOW !!
YOUR RACISM IS REALLY SHOWING !!! I feel sorry for you.

      • James Stone II

Your willful ignorance is amazing so why wouldn’t you think these undertrained buffoons and cowards are here to do anything more than oppress and enslave. Furthermore, pointing out that this ENTIRE campaign of whining about their incapability to do their jobs, is as foolish as it is racist. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

        • firemanemt4ever.

          ^^^^^ ignorance above^^^^ @James Stone II

          • James Stone II

First of all, Moron, your pandering for sympathy for all these clowns that don’t do their job is YOUR choice. Choice being the key word here. However, the fact that you bleeding hearts that act like this isn’t a rampant epidemic condemnation of this society, should simply take your head and shove it up Sean Hannity’s ass so you can actually see what your own insides look like: that of a puppet. In this country you’re campaigning for mostly unstable and “Deplorable” bags of trash posing as those that protect when in reality they are still performing the task police departments were established for: apprehension of slaves. You’re so blind that you will never see our coming that YOU TO WILL BE CONSIDERED A SLAVE to them. So, go ahead and defend your masters, but you will never be free because you don’t even know you live in a cage.

  • Unckle_Ruckus

Here to collect the tears of hypocrisy. There is still drought conditions in certain areas of the country.

  • firemanemt4ever.

When you have BLM groups chanting “What do we want? Dead Cops! When do we want them? Now” That is a problem. For Ben and Jerry’s to support a group which wants to cause harm to people that is wrong on so many levels and people should boycott them. BLM should be labeled domestic terrorism as they are asking for violence.

    • DVM

If you knew what you were talking about that would be a good place to start. BLM protesters did no such thing. To detail the truth to you would be pointless since youve sunk your fangs so deeply into the lie. My only suggestion: check your “facts”, stereotypes and name calling. If there are terrorists it certainly isnt the victims burying thier family members. Its the few bad cops, the system that protects them and looney tunes like you wirh your misguided anger.

  • Mon Dre

Boo hooo, B&J is telling the truth and we can’t take it…ALL lives SHOULD matter, but unfortunately in the eyes of law enforcement, that’s just not true. Stop crying about Ben & Jerry’s and start crying about overall much needed police reform!

    • firemanemt4ever.

Booo hoo, So B & J is supporting domestic terrorism and you are ok with it cause you get your chunky monkey flavored ice cream from them. Well get a clue. I fyou had any clue you would know that BLM has called for all police to be killed. They havent held back on ems or fire either. SOOOOO booo hoo. Who will you call when you need help?????/ GROW UP!!

      • DVM

I really wish you’d stop telling the same ignorant ass LIE. Get your facts straight then be indignant.

      • Mon Dre

Yep, keep spreading ur Sean Hannity/Fox News MISINFORMATION, it makes great talking points and continues to delay what’s really needed in this country, complete reformation of the training procedures for law enforcement in this country…BLM has NEVER called for killing of police officers and just because u saw footage of a few outside agitators protesting what was the latest (at the time) another unjust police killing of an unarmed black man, it doesn’t represent to main purpose of the BLM MOVEMENT, which is too simply shine a light on the alarming number of UNJUSTIFIABLE police brutality acts and killings of unarmed black men, women, and KIDS!…PERIOD!

    • DVM

      Indeed!

  • Danielle

    I’m gonna buy extra. Mmmm….

Racist and hateful people are the enemy

    • firemanemt4ever.

bad cops are very small percentage. just like bad blacks are a small percentage, bad whites are a small percentage, bad muslims are a small percentage etc etc. yet the entire group, race, religion etc gets condemned. The problem is so many BLM groups out there are calling for hate and violence its spilled into rioting in several cities. It needs to cease. If people would follow simple directions then you are less likely to have anything happen. i am white and yes i have been pulled over i have received a ticket every time. i also notice every time as well officer comes up with hand on his gun as they dont know what to expect.

      • Shay

I clearly said all cops are not the problem. Peaceful protest turn into riots when police start gassing people… look at every protest white vs. black and you will see the immediate calling of cops just because it’s a group of black people. How many times has your car been searched while you were doing nothing at all? How many times has someone followed you in a store or made any type of reference to you being a “nigger” don’t try and act like you know for 1 millisecond what it’s like to be black. You never will. And that’s okay. Be white. Enjoy your birth right of white privlidge. This is not a freakin contest. This is a real issue in our country. And YES whites and others are discriminated against too. We need to stop it ALL not just some

        • firemanemt4ever.

I know which is why i was referring to small percentages. Guess you didn’t read the small percentages part.

          • Shay

Guess you didn’t realize you commenting on every pro-blm comment isn’t going to change the support

How about you focus on the real problems with cities, the gangs, the drugs, and other violence.

    • asidkisses

Do you think all blacks live in ghettos? Also, there is a difference between a TRAINED GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS killing UNARMED civilians out of panic, and gangs violence in areas of poverty. Those killers get plenty of jail time!! Stop comparing the two!

  • Timothy Barringer

Never will another bite of ben and jerry’s product will cross my lips!

  • Toni Tippin

B&J can keep their overpriced crap.
Never again will we purchase their products!

  • Iesha Carson

My thing is, what happened to “agreeing to disagree”? It’s like you’re not allowed to have an opinion anymore. “Agree with me or you’re an idiot and I’m going to make it a big deal.” If you support “Blue Lives”, ok. If you support “Black Lives”, fine. The entire thing is just exhausting. We’ve got innocent people (of all ethnicities) being unjustly killed. We’ve got great officers of the law being watched under microscopes. What I have an issue with is, no one is perfect, cops make mistakes and put their lives on the line, however if an innocent life is ended in result of that, some punishment needs to be given. At the same time, people got to stop provoking cops. What I personally have noticed is that officers have way more support in court. Just observation though, could be wrong. One reason that I hate things are always being focused on ethnicity. It’s simple right vs.wrong. It’s too hard to prove intent in court but that shouldn’t excuse actions. Another thing, the term “racism” is used way too loosely when the term “prejudice” fits more appropriately. Overall, were all grown. We all have reasons for our opinions. You don’t have to put each other down because you disagree, especially when the media manipulates EVERYTHING.

  • Ken’Drea Johnson Mayes

My thoughts are that y’all are idiots.

  • Brett Boyle

What a bunch of BS that crap story was!

Sounds to me like I’m going to have to start eating more Ben & Jerry’s!

The police forces across the U.S. do have an absolutely HUGE problem with racist police in their ranks!
They have members of law enforcement that are KKK affiliated (such as that
scumbag darren wilson .. note the no caps to its name) and also have a
huge problem with shooting unarmed compliant people in general .. such
as the black therapist who was trying to get his autistic patient back
to the clinic, who was laying on the ground complying with officer
commands and was still shot .. by a black officer no less.
It has gone far beyond just race, and has turned into a “citizens vs the state” affair.

It is the “hold the blue line” mentality that has absolutely decimated
police image in North America and turned it into an “us vs them”
scenario .. citizens do NOT want the blue line held! Citizens want
officers who break the laws they are supposed to uphold, punished
severely and face justice for breaking those laws. “Holding the blue
line” does not do that, and in fact that mentality protects bad officers
while bullying out the good ones, instead of the other way around.

Police want their image and respect back, then they have to earn it and show
that it is deserved. .. outright shooting unarmed people in the street
and the lies and coverups are not doing that.
It’s not on citizens to change mentality, it is on officers to change theirs.

When is the Blue Lives Matter group going to tackle the problem of white men killing police officers? Almost 75% of police officers killed are killed by white men. This is an epidemic that needs to be addressed.

  • asidkisses

It’s disgusting how many people will go above and beyond to miss the point. the SAYING BLM is not the organization BLM first, second, I hope all you All Lives Matter people are the first to protest when cops indeed kill unarmed black men…. !!!

    Poor babies

  • Justin Amstutz

I will only be buying been and Jerry’s….way to go!

  • RJ

This is the stupidest stance ever! You got your feelings hurt because an organization stands against police brutality… So, it’s more American to murder unarmed men, women and children, than it is to follow the constitution, which clearly prohibits unreasonable searches and seizures, grants citizens life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, etc. I really confused here. Are you really just expressing your own racism, instead of actually embracing the language of the constitution? Yup, I think that’s what’s going on. Well, keep your racism to yourself, I support our constitution and Ben & Jerry’s.

  • Ben & Jerry’s Ice cream > Blue Lives Matter & angry white people.

Whoop, whoop. I’ve never eaten Ben & Jerry’s, but I will now just because.

  • BobW

Before you post something, try doing a little research. The photo you are showing has been photo shopped. It was taken at an April 2016 Bernie Sanders rally. The sigh they are holding is one supporting Sanders, not BLM. You should post an immediate apology.

  • donF

I am on board – our weekly ice cream night will go on without B&J choices, full support for the Blue! All incidents need to be investigated, as abuse and racism are present, but it is NOT systemic nor wide-spread in my opinion.

I’m a white man and I get it – #BLACKLIVESMATTER – if you don’t understand the struggle, take a long think. The issues that affect black people affect whites alike, it just hurts black bodies and black lives more – this is why it is an important movement. #BLACKLIVESMATTER = all lives matter by addressing the problem at its most critical point.

  • DinaPraestant

“Blue Lives Matter” is misleading, ignorant, and politically motivated. Saying such as a response to “Black Lives Matter” is the same as when someone is at a table, with an empty plate in front of them, and says, “I’m hungry”, to which the person next to her, gobbling down food, says, “We’re all hungry,” and continues eating without offering the first person a thing to eat. Blue Lives do not matter more than any other life, and as long as Black Lives are sacrificed then Blue Lives are worthless.

  • Tia Hopkins

I will proudly raid the Ben and Jerry’s section in the convienient store on my campus! Can’t tell me to stop eating ice cream. Proud of my thick thighs because of it! Thank you Ben and Jerry’s…

To be pro BLM one has to be ignorant to the origins and purpose of the BLM movement.
Albeit the principle motive is sincere the actual movement has evolved into something that could be equated to race supremacy group and a revolution to incorporate a more socialist type government.
Unless you have taken the time to research Alicia Garza, Opal Tometi, Patrisse Cullors and Deray Mckesson. Then you become someone who repeats talking points given to you from an agenda driven media source. So here is a quick overview. At age 18, Miss Cullors began volunteering with the Bus Riders Union, a public transportation advocacy group organized by a Los Angeles-based think tank known as the Labor and Community Strategies Center. A few years later, the Center hired Cullors to train high-school students in political organizing tactics. Cullors herself was trained to be an activist by former Weather Underground leader Eric Mann. BLM is closely allied with numerous groups that are fronts for the Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO), a Marxist-Leninist entity that calls for the overthrow of capitalism. Economist and investigative journalist James Simpson has identified some of these FRSO fronts that are tied to BLM: National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) – People Organized to Win Employment Rights (POWER) – Right to the City Alliance (RTTC) – School of Unity and Liberation (SOUL) – Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI) – Advancement Project (AP) – Movement Strategy Center (MSC) – Dignity and Power Now (DPN) – Labor/Community Strategy Center (LCSC) – Black Left Unity Network – Black Workers for Justice – Grassroots Global Justice Alliance (GGJ) – Causa Justa/Just Cause – Hands Up United: – Intelligent Mischief: – Organization for Black Struggle (OBS) – Revolutionary Student Coordinating Committee (RSCC) – Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ): – Strategic Concepts in Organizing and Policy Education (SCOPE) – :. As evidenced by these numerous ties between FRSO and BLM, Black Lives Matter is in essence a project of FRSO. All three of BLM’s co-founders have been employed by, or affiliated with, one or more of FRSO’s aforementioned front groups at various times. Specifically,: – Alicia Garza has served as a special projects director for the National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA); executive director of People Organized to Win Employment Rights (POWER); a board member of School of Unity and Liberation (SOUL); and board chair of the Right to the City Alliance (RTTC). – Patrisse Cullors, who was trained by former Weather Underground leader Eric Mann, founded Dignity and Power Now (DPN) and has served as its director. Opal Tometi is affiliated with the Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI). I could keep going about all of this and could give you the run down on Deray McKesson but unless you want to know the real truth behind what is really going on, then you will remain a surface scratcher and an echo chamber of the false narrative talking points. Here is a clue, right from Hillary’s own emails, “My dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders”. To have a “hemispheric common market” our government as we know it would have be dissolved and replaced with a “Hemispheric Government.”. I truly believe if you could see what that looks like you wouldn’t like it. Saul Alinsky’s RULE #8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new. (Attack, attack, attack from all sides, never giving the reeling organization a chance to rest, regroup, recover and re-strategize.) (Rule#8 is why there are so many splinter groups off the BLM movement. As Paul Harvey would say now you know the rest of the story.

if police stop breaking the law in the name of upholding the law you’ll get the respect you deserve. Law enforcement is a noble profession, but many of your members are acting as a law unto themselves…You wield DELEGATED authority, you operate at the pleasure of the State…If you insist that Black lives don’t matter then eventually that attitude will morph into NO lives matter. Police departments need to do a serious self-check…

  • Brian Thornton

You say that there isn’t systemic racism within the justice system, what evidence do you have to combat the studies that show that backs are stopped, arrested, and incarcerated for longer sentences at higher percentages than they appear on society?
It’s fine to say, that’s a lie, but for people that are on the fence, surely you have some proof to combat their proof.

  • Senhorbotero

Count me in….no more ben and jerrys for me…never….ever again

  • Kat Oh

The truth hurts…maybe you should pay attention. We keep hearing about bad apples…but guess what? They rot the whole barrel. Perhaps you should speak with your unions about protecting the jobs of officers busted doing wrong? It’s all up to you to fix this. Ball’s in your court. Meanwhile…I’m so enjoying my B&J chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.

  • TC NY

Hot damn! I got an excuse to go buy some delish ice cream…

    Where are my car keys?

  • Alyssa Scott

Umm…doesn’t all this seem kinda stupid? We’re fighting over stupid stuff…like boycotting a company for supporting one side of an argument. In case none of you have noticed, women fought for the right to have abortion, and there isn’t a point in taking that away. I’m not saying abortion is a good thing, as it /is/ baby murder, but the option is there, so oh well. Deal with it. As for Black Lives Matter, I’m sorry to say but that’s /also/ a stupid argument. Race doesn’t scientifically exist; therefor, we need to completely drop it. What’s the damn point? Yes, black lives matter, but so do Mexican and Asian and literally every other “race” out there. We are so politically correct now, that /this/ is what we’re doing, running a stupid campaign to support a stupid company for supporting a an even stupider campaign. Think about it this way, we’re fighting OVER NOTHING. That’s the reality here. We’re FINDING things to argue about. We can’t fight over how shitty our school system, and the school buildings themselves, are…or how to deal with poverty. Instead, we’ve begun feuds over racism (again), abortion (AGAIN), and flipping…Ben and Jerry’s Ice cream! What the frick? This is America, Land of the Free. We have the freedom of speech, so why are we trying not to offend anyone? We can’t baby the world; that’s not our job. We should be able to say whatever we want, that’s part of what is /supposed/ to make this country great…but instead, we are wasting our time starting campaigns to boycott an ice cream company for having an opinion. Sure, the opinion is strong and towards a ridiculously dumb argument…but WHO CARES? We have other, more important issues to be dealing with. Everyone seems to be blinded right now, and it’s really annoying. Figure out what’s worth it, and what isn’t. I’ll start by hinting, this campaign isn’t worth it. Solving the problems the BLM has by talking about them, lessening poverty and improving the school situation (let me tell ya’, it’s really bad) are all things that are worth it. Catering to the minority as of they rule the world and giving a flip about race and abortion…are /not/ worth it. Open your eyes and read this one last bit…This is stupid. It all is. Take a deep breath and calm down now. OK?

    • TC NY

Sorry, you lose the argument at “baby murder.”

      • Alyssa Scott

I’m laughing so hard that I’m crying right now. I’ve been ignored /and/ acknowledged. Love it.

How dare ben and jerrys ice cream express their opinion?! On top of that how dare colin kaepernick excercise his first amendment right?! Where do those people think we are, America? lol They need to be more sensitive, so that people dont get offended. And we all know how sensitive people are today

  • Ryan Hickok

What’s a “blue” life? Never heard of one until people started talking about Black ones. All this time I thought “police officer” was an occupation, not a racial minorth in danger of systematic oppression. Learn something new everyday.

I’ll support and join the boycott when all of the cops using excessive force have been rooted out, and they’re no longer protected by the good or otherwise acceptable cops, from being held accountable.

Honestly, I don’t even have to talk about any african americans when I bring up police brutality.

Much like I’m grateful for trump running for president, because in doing so he allowed us all to see which of our family, friends and neighbors were actually holding or hiding very spiteful thoughts, I’m grateful for the BLM.
They’re not perfect, and I don’t doubt at all that a large portion of them are merely joining in order to cause anarchy and unrest. But that doesn’t mean that every member of that group is.

Police brutality is a big deal, because these officers are supposed to be there to protect and maintain peace, uphold the law, and not allow their personal biases to get in the way. Much like just about any group or organization, they’re not all going to be good, some there merely because they enjoy the power or are unable to handle the level of power they have, but unlike other groups and organizations, “peace officers’ are trained and have a great deal of responsibility they’re supposed to handle, standards they’re supposed to adhere to, and that means there should be far fewer ‘bad apples’ among them. That’s not up for debate.

If you’re a criminal, then yes, you should be fearful of the cops. But like almost all of the above mentioned incidents that I provided links for, some officers are abusing their power, and that’s not ok. That also needs to come to an end.
Like I said, once those law breaking officers are no longer protected from being punished, and have their badges taken, then I’ll support this boycott.

  • distachio

Not so fast. This is from Ben and Jerry’s position statement:

“We want to be clear: we believe that saying Black lives matter is not to say that the lives of those who serve in the law enforcement community don’t. We respect and value the commitment to our communities that those in law enforcement make, and we respect the value of every one of their lives.

But we do believe that — whether Black, brown, white, or blue — our nation and our very way of life is dependent on the principle of all people being served equal justice under the law. And it’s clear, the effects of the criminal justice system are not color blind.

We do not place the blame for this on individual officers. Rather, we believe it is due to the systemic racism built into the fabric of our institutions at every level, disadvantaging and discriminating against people of color in ways that go beyond individual intent to discriminate. For this reason, we are not pointing fingers at individuals; we are instead urging us to come together to better our society and institutions so that we may finally fulfill the founding promise of this country: to be a country with dignity and justice for all.”

What part of that statement incites hatred or violence toward police officers? And what part of that statement isn’t true?

  • Amazed99

The ones I really feel sorry for are the poor franchisees who invested very large sums of money just to sell ice cream. Now everyone is boycotting them. They may lose their businesses because some uninformed wacko ultra liberal made some really ignorant statements. Lets see if Unilever has the guts to call the Ben & Jerry’s executives to task!

By “misinformation” do you mean the scientific evidence that unarmed black Americans are five times as likely as unarmed white Americans to be shot and killed by a police officer?

Your article is misleading you wrote ” Ben & Jerry’s just recently announced their support for Black Lives Matter along with a misinformation campaign accusing law enforcement of widespread systemic and institutionalized racism” what they said was systematic racism exist. here is a quote from Ben and Jerry’s statement “We want to be clear: we believe that saying Black lives matter is not to say that the lives of those who serve in the law enforcement community don’t. We respect and value the commitment to our communities that those in law enforcement make, and we respect the value of every one of their lives.” Why is it impossible to acknowledge the wrong of a few cops while, respecting and supporting law enforcement? Everything isn’t black and white. Also you don’t have to support Black lives matter but if your going to be a source of information you should at least spread correct information. I’m not sure how many times this needs to be said, but black like lives matter supports the basic civil rights of those whose civil rights have been violated, the acknowledge the injustices that African Americans along with other people of color have to endure, and some at the hands of law enforcement.I encourage any one who would dare to get off social media, and stop listening to those with their own agenda and get the information from the horses mouth. go visit the black lives matter site and see what they are telling their supporters , what they stand for and what they support. Stop reading what you want and go to the source. http://www.benjerry.com/whats-new/why-black-lives-matter

Quite simple dont break the law. When you are told to stop dont keep walking. When you are told to do something do it. Try being respectful to authority. And pull up your damm pants.

The Germans said the same thing.

  • Dr Anon

You bet I walked right on by that Ben and Jerry’s display at the store today. I had been looking for a reason to quit, but this makes it really easy! Bryers got my money instead and will forever more until Ben and Jerry’s apologizes or pulls their support for colored terrorism.

  • xSushi

I don’t think you read Ben & Jerry’s post. They are pro Law Enforcement as well. Stop drawing lines in the sand and realize there is more common ground than there isn’t.

  • Amy Wilson

When BLM got started I got this image in my mind of an avalanche starting at the top of a high mountain. You know, it only takes a stray pebble dislodging to start a cascade of stones and even boulders to come crashing down, destroying everything in its wake. The pebble that was BLM’s inception took no time at all to gain momentum and mass. It’s gone so far, so fast, that I’d wager a lot of them don’t really understand what they’ve gotten themselves into – they just got caught up in the movement. And since many of the cities where BLM operates show no overt sign of violent behavior, a large percentage of the movement’s members don’t believe there’s a connection between BLM and the many riots that have broken out this year alone.

  • Webwench

Their ice cream is crap! The usual new food company that gets all the hype and is good for max 6 months before they start using shitty ingredients to cut costs. They have been irrelevant for over a decade!

  • jlamm2223443

this is crazy. All this does is make police people more hated. We are a country of
free speech. Police unions need to get over every time people are critical of them.
Perhaps this movement needs to have joint events with black lives matter people
and the justice dept. and see about laws which might prohibit local govornments from
putting pressure on police to write tickets more for money and retention than real
infractions. How about Blue lives matter people speak out against racial profiling
politicians like the Maine Governor. How about lobbying for funds so that every
police person wears a camera which would resolve a lot of these disputes.
The police unions and blue lives matter folk
    are their own worst enemy.

  • Kit Prate

I happen to believe all lives matter. Maybe that should be a group: ALM. Enough of the separation of entities. Let’s just concentrate on respecting all life and learning to live together. If we fail to do that, we are going to fail to survive.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion , if you think that you are entitle to yours . Get A Life .

    • Guy Battiste

Or better still BKD , go and help someone in need whether they are of your color or not

  • Guy Battiste

And God Bless those that wear the uniform . Keep up the good work that you do & thank you 🙂

“Systemic and institutionalized racism are the defining civil rights and social justice issues of our time. We’ve come to understand that to be silent about the violence and threats to the lives and well-being of Black people is to be complicit in that violence and those threats.” -Ben & Jerry’s

Nowhere in this statement does it solely accuse law enforcement of systematic racism. It’s important to report the facts and not opinions.

  • Christian Figueroa MuFasa

Dont boycott ben & jerrys…its delicious…Boycott the police for institutionalized ignorance, bigotry, and racism!

    • Kimberly

yes… lets all boycott the police. No matter what happens don’t call them for help 🙂 Throw ice cream at the person stealing your car or eat ice cream while you are getting robed. It is delicious and I can’t think of a better way to tap out. Have a safe day.

My Father, my Grandfather, step mom, and Uncle where all police officers. They worked hard to protect people and property. All of them where fair and just people who put their lives on the line every time they went to work. If this is true then I too will no longer enjoy my favorite yummy yummy treat. I don’t care if others choose to enjoy, after all that is their right. However I will not because I support all our men and women who work so hard to keep us safe. This including military, firemen, policemen, and anyone else how lays their life on the line to help others. I will continue to thank them when I see them and continue to pray to keep them safe and help them do a very difficult job. I have no hate no matter what ice cream, coffee shop, or store you choose to support. I would hope that I would get the same respect from others. Everybody enjoy what ever ice cream you choose to have and have a great day. (BTW – I already know my spelling and grammar sucks)

You bet…Right along with McDucks (McDonald’s) more drive bys than any other fast food and Kaeperdick sponsor..plus boycotting USAA insurance…Boycotting NFL and watching motocross and racing where we are always loved and appreciated..feel free to join us!

  • Kiki

I would love for the cities who support black lives matter to go a week or two without police. I believe it would be interesting to see if anyone calls for help.

    • Smalldeer

Calling the cops gets you dead.

      • Kiki

Only when you break the law.

        • Smalldeer

Not even close. IF you break the law, the Constitution states you have a RIGHT to due process and you are INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty BY A COURT OF LAW.

  • Tara LaPeligrosa Lee

You know what? Not only am I going to buy all the Ben & Jerry’s I can find this Saturday,
I’m going to donate a bunch of it to my local police precinct!

After my sweet little Aunt was terrified when confronted with an angry BML protest group, I could never support anything to do with them. She drove hours from Alabama to a Christian outdoor concert and had to miss the whole thing. They where yelling and jumping and blocking traffic. She was terrified and her trip was ruined. I’m sure that at some point someone meant for this group to be a good thing (at least that is what I hope). However there is no redeeming qualities in it at all when you run around beating up on people and scarring old ladies. No sir/ma’am I will not support any company that promotes this kind of violence and hate.

    • Smalldeer

Awe poor old white lady scared by all the black people?

  • Sunn

So I’m confused. Why can’t you support black lives matter but encourage supporting blue lives matter? Do black lives not matter? Can you not support both black and blue lives? Are blue lives against black lives?

  • Jack Langiano

I haven’t eaten Ben & Jerry’s in a long time. I miss it –and now that I know that “Blue Lives Matter” is boycotting, I think it’s time to stock up the freezer with a couple cases to show support for a progressive company like Ben & Jerry’s that is brave enough to make a stand in support of police accountability. A badge doesn’t grant one special rights.

  • marycanisius

    No Ben & Jerry’s!

  • mosthii

Way to go! My new favorite Ice cream!

Crazy when you say BLACK LIVES MATTER…people answer with ALL LIVES or BLUE LIVES matter. Who said they didn’t? And why is that an answer for a call for help. This world needs and enema!

  • jcluvstrnity

Ignorant…. BLM never meant that Black lives and no one else’s matters…. And the guy that killed the cops in Dallas was never part of BLM. Just like you have rogue cops, there are people who may commit atrocities under the guise of BLM, Ridiculous….smh

  • ashleydempsey

    BLM is a terrorist group!

  • Alan Simms

boycot this overpriced trash. theres a post going round asking British people not to buy from this racist company . White lives matter but it seems black people think they are the elite. “… a misinformation campaign accusing law enforcement of widespread systemic and institutionalized racism.”

Observed reality, demonstrable and measured and factual, is “misinformation?” Really?

  • Roy

Props to Ben & Jerrys! Fuck the Police!!!!!!

  • bisquit7

    Fuck blue lives matter

  • KeepOnLearning

I’d be more sympathetic to Black Lives Matter if they would tell ONLY the proven, accurate facts and statistics of their case. Instead—to get headlines and cheers from a crowd—their leaders falsely explode a few relevant facts into a fake national “situation.”
Same for Kaepernick. If he had cited FACTS, instead of his hail Mary hyperbole, he’d have got his message across without arousing actual disrespect for the cause he espouses.

  • Kiley Horman

Bought some Ben and Jerry’s just a few days ago. Mmm, I love the taste of cookie dough and supporting important causes.

  • Christopher Pitts

Solving problems is not a team sport.

The police who serve our communities deserve a populace that supports them and empowers them with the trust and assistance they need to perform their duties to enforce our laws and protect society.

The people deserve to live in a society where they do not have to be afraid of the police. They deserve a police force where officers who are lazy, hateful, or corrupt are not handed the he power to hurt the people they serve unjustly, and the police force holds the same standards of adherence to the law of the land as they hold to the people they serve.

I’m a pasty white conservative from a pasty white neighborhood. I have all the respect in the world for our police. I trust them with my life, and I do everything I can to help them do their jobs.

But it pisses me off to no end when I get pulled over and charged hundreds of dollars for doing 80 in a 70 on my way to work in the morning, and then I see a police SUV with no lights on, not chasing anyone, weaving in and out of traffic, tailgating, and going at least 15 over like it’s no big deal, driving like the biggest asshole on the road. Who is going to pull that guy over?

And the stink of it is, there are a thousand good cops for every asshole cop out there. But we have turned our civil.discourse into such a team sport, that you have some folks out there trying to get every cop they meet fired for trying to do that job, and officers that are scared out of their minds that they are going to get blasted at their next routine traffic stop.

We have GOT to get back on the same team again, America!

The mistake this article makes is in attacking BLM even as it recognizes the fact that a great many people see it as a benevolent movement that is just trying to get some accountability placed on the police, sonly that folks in these neighborhoods have a reason to restore the trust they desperately want to be able to give.

The solution is to do the opposite! Recognize the validity of the complaints people have, and own the reasonable resolution of those conflicts by doing what’s possible to restore that trust.

The article even acknowledges that the “organized” groups took a hundred million dollars from all sorts of shady partisan sources! You think the average person who supports the mainstream goals of BLM doesn’t understand and hate that fact? You should be on the same team as those people to fight TOGETHER against that corruption. You could put all the haters and corruptors out of business, and resolve the core issues at the heart of the problem in the process!

Solving problems is not a team sport. We need to stop letting the corruptors of our society continue to divide the American people against ourselves. If we all stood together against those forces – and yes, the enemy of the police is the same force as the enemy of equality for all citizens – there would be nothing to stop us all from achieving all of our goals in the resolution of these issues.

    Best regards, citizens.

  • Shanti P.

Awesome! Not only did Ben & Jerry’s recently come out with some amazing non-dairy version of some of the flavors, they are openly supporting BLM? I am SO a lifetime customer! They are saving Black lives and cow’s lives (well slowly but surely). They totally GET IT. Yes I am grateful for the hard work that most police officers do on a daily basis–and institutionalized racism is REAL and it exists in the police force and everywhere else in the US. It is a fact. Scientifically supported, evidence based unfortunate but undeniable fact.

So let’s get to work–to heal and repair our broken system, TOGETHER!!
