Twitter Threat of Mass Shooting at Texas Pride Parade

@crehgdu123 threatens shooting at pride parade in Houston, Texas
One of our users tipped us off to a threat of a mass shooting at the Houston, Texas pride parade that was posted on Twitter. The account was apparently a new account that was created just to make the threat; Twitter has now deleted the account. The threat [email protected] said “There will be a mass shooting at the pride parade in Houston, Texas.” Thanks to people sending the tweet to Houston Police Department, they are now investigating the threat. The person behind the twitter account better be very confident in his computer security skills, because making terrorist threats is a good way to get the FBI knocking down your door.
We expect that the troll who posted this threat is just trying to cause a panic. If anybody shows up to the Pride Parade with intent to do harm, they will be met by a small army of law enforcement officers and armed citizens who are ready to stop them.
