Product Spotlight: Intervine Flashlights

Hello everyone! Donut here again with a new product spotlight for all you fine people. I just had to take a break from the rioting madness and completely irresponsible mainstream reporting to make this. Last time we got down and dirty with an upper from Bravo Company Mfg. We shot targets, bottles, and even Harambe.

This product spotlight is a little less shooty than the last one. Intervine, which I pronounced intervene in my video below and is probably wrong, sent us a few flashlights and lanterns to test out. Did I mention that I love product spotlights? It’s like Christmas. I managed to give a few of their flashlights a little review. They sent us the Guardian 1300xl, Guardian 1300rl, Starling 12oz, and the Crew Chief Ultra 170.

Guardian 1300xl

It’s a flashlight. A really, really bright flashlight. It is a very light flashlight as well. It is water proof and has a little lithium battery in it that is rechargeable and can last 3-5 hours. It has 5 different light functions built in: bright, medium, low, strobe, and SOS. The Guardian 1300xl comes with a remote pressure switch on a wire so that it can be mounted on your weapon of choice. For about $70 bucks, it’s pretty good quality.

Guardian 1300rl

This flashlight was the exact same as the Guardian 1300xl and even comes with the pressure switch, but it has a much cooler feature that the XL lacks. The 1300rl has a beam focus on it. I pulled it out of the box, turned it on, and thought “well this thing sucks”. I said this because it was set on the biggest beam focus so all it did was make a big circle in the room. I told myself “I guess this is kinda cool”, until I took it outside and realized you can make the beam tiny enough to shine all the way down the street and annoy your neighbors with who keep taking pictures of your grass for the Home Owners Association. Look Steve, I don’t sit on my ass all day long, staring at my neighbors lawn, so why don’t you back off before I plant claymores on the path you walk your dog on. I like this flashlight.

Starling 12oz

This little guy is the 1300rl’s little brother. It does everything that the 1300rl can do, minus the pressure switch. It isn’t as bright, but it does come with the beam focus feature so that you can annoy neighbors or point out the illusive Sasquatch while camping.

Crew Chief Ultra 170

This was one of my favorites out of the bunch. It has the best beam focus out of the others and it also has a super bright led lamp built into it. This light has a magnetic end so you can stick it to metal stuff. I wouldn’t suggest packing it with a cell phone, GPS device, laptop, or any other electronic device, as the magnet might render your other electronic’s warranty void.

Conclusion

Keep in mind that I haven’t used these lights for more than the initial test or my son and I taking turns throwing them against the concrete driveway (they didn’t break). They are decent quality flashlights for the price.
