Concealed Carry Hero Shoots Dead Gas Station Robber and Kidnapper

Concealed Carry Holders: Potential Heroes
Another concealed carry holder just saved lives and property, by shooting a gas-station robber who attempted to kidnap the female clerk. If this hero wasn’t armed on scene, there’s no telling what this sick criminal would have done.
FOX 17 Nashville reports:
EAST RIDGE, Tenn. — Police say a customer at a Tennessee gas station has fatally shot a man who was allegedly robbing the place and threatening to kill the clerk.
East Ridge Police Department Capt. Tim Mullinax said in a statement that the customer had arrived at the Marathon station early Thursday, determined it was being robbed and retrieved a gun from his vehicle.
Police say the suspect is accused of taking money and cigarettes, and then threatening to kill the clerk and forcing her to leave the store with him. Police say the customer confronted the suspect as the two left the store and fired several shots, striking the suspect.
Mullinax said no charges are pending, but the investigation is continuing.
Police did not identify anyone involved in the shooting.
As police, we can not be everywhere all the time, but armed law abiding, brave citizens can. We fully support those who wish to use their second amendment right to carry legally and responsibly. Everyone should have the same right to protect themselves as anyone else, not just police, and not just politicians with security personnel armed to the teeth. We’ve had enough of government officials who walk around protected by men and women with guns, but tell you that you should not have that right.
The more people like this hero out there, the better. We fully support anyone who takes action to assist their communities and local law enforcement. This gentleman deserves the title of hero and then some. Anyone brave enough to go toe to toe with a thug who has no morals, no decency, no respect for others, is a hero in our book.
It’s notable that even his hero wasn’t carrying his weapon on his person; he had left it in his vehicle. A comfortable concealed holster can make concealed carry easy so that you can ensure that you are ready at all times.

#BlueLivesMatter should consider sending this person a concealment holster, and you should write an article on the importance of carrying your weapon on you vs. lacing it in your vehicle where it 1) won’t do any good, and 2) could fall into criminal hands through a vehicle burglary. Most guns used to commit felonies weren’t purchased by the would-be felon. They are stolen. Those citizens carrying guns need to be vigilant in their training, dedicated in their intentions, and careful to not to provide the gun used to shoot a cop or innocent person. Choosing to carry concealed is serious business, and it should be approached as such. I am glad to hear this citizen stepped up. Let’s reward him with a new holster and arm him with some knowledge.
